Abstract: PURPOSE: An outside mirror of a vehicle is provided to prevent a housing of the outside mirror from being broken by forming the housing with air-filled rubber and allowing the housing to be folded when external impact is applied thereto. CONSTITUTION: An outside mirror includes a folding plate(20), a rubber housing(100) and a rotating device(200). The folding plate(20) is installed on a quadrant panel(10), which is fixed on a side of a vehicle. The rubber housing(100) is rotatably installed on the folding plate(20). A mirror(110) is positioned at a rear portion of the folding plate(20). The rubber housing(100) is filled up with air having predetermined pressure. The rotating device(200) allows the rubber housing(100) to be folded when external impact is applied to the rubber housing(100), thereby protecting the rubber housing(100).
