Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for alarming use of a mobile phone during driving are provided to induce safe driving and prevent malfunction of a vehicle by sensing a driver using a mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for alarming use of a mobile phone during driving comprises a camera unit(10) which photographs driver's face, a mobile phone use sensing unit(20) which detects a driver using a mobile phone from the face image, an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) interlock unit(30) which interlocks with an ECU in a vehicle to detect traveling of the vehicle, a control unit(40) which transmits an alarm signal when the mobile phone use sensing unit senses the traveling of the vehicle and the driver using the mobile phone, and an alarm unit(50) which outputs alarm sounds according to the alarm signal from the control unit. Abstract: PURPOSE: A front camera control system is provided to automatically detect an image of a part that a driver wants, and enlarge and provide the detected area to the driver, thereby improving convenience and visibility of the driver. CONSTITUTION: A front camera(100) photographs the front part of a road. A controller(400) detects an interesting region from the front image of the road. The controller enlarges the image of the detected interesting region. The controller displays indicates the enlarged image to a driver. The controller obtains the face image of the driver.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An ACC(Adaptive Cruise Control) method and a device are provided to prevent performance reduction caused by the increase of data computation even through images for long and shot distances in front of a vehicle are detected by one camera. CONSTITUTION: An ACC method using a camera mounted in the front side of a vehicle is composed of steps for outputting an image for the front side of the vehicle by the camera(S210); deciding if a preceding vehicle exists or not(S220); controlling the speed of the vehicle based on the distance between the preceding vehicle and an own vehicle(S230); comparing the angle of the camera with a predetermined upward angle(S240,S260); and controlling the angle of the camera based on the preceding vehicle and the camera angle. In the step for controlling the angle of the camera if the preceding vehicle exists, the upward angle of the camera is regulated to a downward angle and the downward camera angle is held(S250).
