CONSTITUTION: A biodegradable soy protein/natural fiber composite comprises a matrix resin containing soybean protein, plasticizer and cross-linking agent; a natural fiber selected from at least one or two kinds selected from jute, hemp, cotton fiber, coconut fiber, banana fiber, rice straw and wheat straw. The plasticizer is at least one or two kinds selected from glycerol, propandiol, polyethylene glycol and polyvinyl alcohol.

PURPOSE: An engine oil deterioration sensing method and a system are provided to facilitate to determine the deterioration of engine oil by using a near-infrared measuring device which is cheap and possible to miniaturize, thereby enable to apply to a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An engine oil deterioration sensing method is as follows. The primary absorbance of engine oil is measured by using near-infrared rays at a frequency of 100nm or greater. The secondary absorbance of the using engine oil is measured. A determination value multiplying a difference of the first absorbance and the second absorbance by the square of a daily mean driving distance is calculated. When the determination value is 500 or greater, the deterioration of the engine oil is determined.

A method of preparing a high efficiency ER(electro-rheological) fluid for damping the vibration of smart cars using silica-polythiophene core-shell nanoparticles comprises the following steps of: coating an oxidizer on a surface of nanoparticles in an aqueous solution; collecting oxidizer-coated colloidal particles by drying the silica nanoparticles-containing aqueous solution; and adding monomers to the oxidizer-coated colloidal particles in a solvent so that a polymer is polymerized on a surface of the inorganic nanoparticles.
