Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the positioning of a hydraulic damper upon assembling and as well to enhance the seal-tightness thereof, by forming annular concave and convex parts which may be interfitted together, in the fastened parts of a flexible sleeve and a hydraulic damper, respectively. Abstract: PURPOSE: To make it possible to continuously measure the change in an interval, by such a simple apparatus that a wind-up frame for energizing a conductive wire to a wind-up direction and the delivered end part of the conductive wire are attached to separating members to measure electric resistance.
CONSTITUTION: A conductive wire is wound up by a wind-up frame 12 energized to a wind-up direction by a spring not shown in the drawing. The bracket 13 for supporting the wind-up frame 12 is fixed to one A of separating members varied in the interval L therebetween and the delivered leading end 11a of the conductive wire 11 is fixed to the other B of the separating members. The contact maker 14 is provided to the bracket 13 in the continuity state with the conductive wire 11. The variation in the electric resistance of the conductive wire 11 with the variation in the interval L is detected to calculate the interval L. By this method, the variable interval L is continuously detected by the simple inexpensive apparatus. This method is suitable for measuring the height of the body of a truck.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize the structure of a vibration damping equipment by enclosing a gas or a fluid, which can be liquidized, in a sealed room and setting installing members on both a contracted-passage-constituting- member-side and a face-plate-side of the equipment, thereby effectively absorbing high frequency microvibration. CONSTITUTION:One sealed room 6 is formed in such a manner that folding parts 1a, 2a of both flexible film bodies 1, 2 face to each other. Inside this sealed room 6, both face plates 4, 5 of the room 6 are connected to each other by means of a cylindrical rigid member 7. In the sealed room 6, air or other gas or water, an antifreezing solution, an electroviscous fluid, a magnetic fluid and a fluid 8, which can be liquidized are enclosed. In addition, installing members 11, 12 are set on the face plate 4 and on a contracted-passage- constituting-member 3. Owing to a sliding guide 13, sliding motion of a rigid member 7 is smoothed, and moreover it is unnecessary to consider the sealing property to the enclosed fluid 8. Therefore, frictional force of the rigid member 7 to the sliding guide 13 can sufficiently be made small.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily detect the condition of a tire by forming a valve main body comprising a conductor by a plurality of conductors electrically insulated through an insulating portion formed by an insulator, and taking out the condition of the tire to the outside as an electric signal through the respective conductors. CONSTITUTION:A valve main body 1 comprising a conductor is formed by the first and second conductors 1A, 1B electrically insulated through an insulating portion 2 formed by an insulator. A pressure sensor 3 is fixed on the forward end side of the valve main body 1, and both sides of the pressure sensor 3 are respectively connected to the respective conductors 1A, 1B. On the other hand, a cap 4 for the valve main body 1 incorporates an electronic circuit 5, and plural signal lines 6, 7 of the electronic circuit 5 are respectively connected to the respective conductors 1A, 1B. In this arrangement, when the cap 4 is installed on the valve main body 1, the respective conductors 1A, 1B are used as lead wires, whereby a signal from the pressure sensor 3 is received by the electronic circuit 5, and the result is processed and displayed.

Upon up/down motion of the pointer 41 of sensor 24 with correspondence to the up/down motion of panel body 1, a signal is fed to the horizontal control section (not shown) to maintain the panel body 1 horizontal through a fluid spring 22.

And the closed air chamber 15 is formed between the outer shell 13, 13a and the damper body 11 by means of the diaphragm 14, and an adjusting device for air pressure is coupled to the closed air chamber 15 through the port 16 for supplying and exhausting air. In this case, the cylindrical guide member 18 is fixed to the damper body 11 to restrain the relative eccentric movement of the shock absorber 10 and the outer shell 13. And the sliding piece 19 with small coefficient of friction is attached to the guide member 18. Whereby, it is possible to exhibit the function of buffering even if the shock absorber 10 is slantingly attached.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To absorb high-frequency low amplitude vibration in a simple structure by storing an elastic body absorbing high-frequency low-amplitude vibration in a free piston separating a liquid chamber from a gas chamber. CONSTITUTION:A free piston 16 is of a hollow structure and provided with an opening 19 connected to a liquid chamber 14. An elastic body 20 comprising a plurality of hollow spherical or cylindrical rubber or rubber elastic bodies is stored in the free piston. The elastic body 20 is adapted to decrease its volume substantially rectilinearly at the contraction stroke of a rod 15 until the pressure in the liquid chamber and in its turn the pressure in the free piston 16 amounts to a fixed pressure P and to keep its volume substantially constant for the pressure more than a fixed value. Thus, high-frequency low amplitude vibration can be absorded effectively by deformation of the elastic body 20.
