Abstract: A carbon nanotube orientated composite formed by orientating carbon nanotubes in a given direction in a matrix having a heat conductivity lower than that of carbon nanotube, in which at least a part of carbon nanotubes are contacted with each other to be continuous from one end to the other end between both ends in the orientated direction, is provided as a material having a heat conductivity considerably higher than that of copper, aluminum or the like or a material to be disposed in rubber material having a low heat releasing characteristic to considerably improve the heat conduction, and also there are provided a method of producing the same as well as a pneumatic tire, a wheel for a vehicle, a tire-wheel assembly and a disc brake using this material.

A container having the elements received therein is provided with a vent mechanism.

Abstract: The invention relates to an electrical cell (galvanic element) having a positive electrode, a negative electrode and an electrolyte containing a lithium salt, which is characterised in that the negative electrode (6) has a two-layer structure with one layer made of a lithium-aluminium alloy and with one aluminium layer. The cell is produced by arranging a positive electrode (4), a negative electrode (6) and an electrolyte in a cell container (1) having casings (2, 3) for the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and making a seal (9) between the casings (2, 3) for the positive electrode (4) and the negative electrode (6). The negative electrode is electrochemically produced in situ in the cell container (1) from a lithium-plated aluminium substrate.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a battery from deteriorating in its performance, due to a corrosion at a welded part, and make its preservation characteristic excellent by coating a welded part of a current collecting body and a positive electrode of a battery case with material insoluble in an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:To retain good conducting state for a long time by making an electrical connection between a positive electrode current collecting body 4 and the positive electrode 1 of a battery case by means of weld, while welded part is coated with a material which is insoluble in an electrolyte. Accordingly, at a welded part where a corrosion an a dissolution phenomenon is fierce, a corrosion of structure material for a metal positive electrode side and a penetration of a metal component in an electrolyte, that could cause deterioration of a battery performance, can be prevented as much as possible, thus excellent cycle characteristic and self-discharge characteristic are retained for a long period of time without increasing its internal resistance.
