Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dispersion solution which does not give a stain after sprayed on the substrate as well as good in storage stability by compounding carbon black, a cationic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant with water at a specific ratio. SOLUTION: 1 to 45 mass % of carbon black, 1 to 40 mass % of a cationic surfactant and 0.5 to 10 mass % of a nonionic surfactant are compounded. For the carbon black, a pigment, a pigment carbon black having an average particle size of 8 to 80 nm as the primary particles and the DBP value of 40 to 200 mg/100 g, which is prepared using a furnace method, gas black method, channel method or lamp black method, can be used. The carbon black is dispersed in water together with a wetting agent, which may be dispersed by use of a purl mill, an ultrasonic apparatus or Ultra-Turrax according to circumstances. Alternatively, it is further centrifuged or filtered. The pH of the dispersion solution is preferably 1 to 4.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a pigment granulate which contains 40 to 65% by weight of pigment and at least 10% by weight of a compound of general formula (I) CH3-(CH2)n-CH2-O-[(CH2)p-O]m-H, wherein n=8-18, p=1-4 and m=35-100, the weight ratio of the compound of general formula I to the pigment being = the STSA surface area of the pigment in m²/g multiplied by 0.0021 g/m² and the mass-weighted particle size of the pigment granulate being
Abstract:
The invention relates to a pigment preparation which comprises at least one pigment and at least one compound of the general formula CH3- (CH2) n-CH2-O- [ (CH2) p-O]m-H. The pigment preparation can be produced by dispersion and drying. It can be used for dyeing and/or imparting antistatic properties to water-based color and paint systems, dispersion paints, printing inks, ink systems and coating systems.

Abstract:
An aqueous dispersion of carbon black contains 1-45 wt.% carbon black and 1-40 wt.% cationic surfactant. An Independent claim is included for a process for the production of the dispersion by dispersing the carbon black and wetting agent in water, optionally by means of a bull mill, ultrasonic device or ultra-Turrax.
Abstract:
Aqueous, colloidal gas black suspension, containing a gas black, an azo compound of general formula 1, (see formula 1) and water. The aqueous, colloidal gas black suspension is produced in that the gas black and the azo compound of general formula 1 are dispersed in water. It may be used to produce inks, ink jet inks, paints, printing inks, latices, textiles, leather, adhesives, silicones, plastics materials, concrete and construction materials.
