    Abstract: An on-line data analytics device can be installed in a process control system as a standalone device that operates in parallel with, but non-intrusively with respect to, the on-line control system to perform on-line analytics for a process without requiring the process control system to be reconfigured or recertified. The data analytics device includes a data analytics engine coupled to a logic engine that receives process data collected from the process control system in a non-intrusive manner. The logic engine operates to determine further process variable values not generated within the process control system and provides the collected process variable data and the further process variable values to the data analytics engine. The data analytics engine executes statistically based process models, such as batch models, stage models, and phase models, to produce a predicted process variable, such as an end of stage or end of batch quality variable for use in analyzing the operation of the on-line process.

    Abstract: Techniques for presenting historized process parameter values in a process plant include presenting, via a user interface of an operator application, indications of process control elements in a first display region (402, fig 4A) within a layout of a display view. Each of the process control elements is associated with one or more process parameters. The operator application also presents a trend display view in a second display region within the layout of the display view (step 462). The trend display view includes sets of historized process parameter values for process parameters presented in the first display region. For example, the trend display view in the second display region is linked to the display view in the first display region. In this manner, the trend display view presents charts or other graphical depictions of historized process parameter values for process parameters included in the first display region.

    Abstract: A graphical display view 535 of a process plant includes multi language interface object 542 which indicates a plurality of languages which the graphical display view is able to present at a user interface device. The multi-language interface object includes a language parameter the value of which is changeable in an operating environment to indicate a desired language to present on the graphical display. The display view further features repeatedly updated indications 538, 540 of one or more process values generated by one or more control elements executing to control a process at the process plant. An operator application executing at the user interface device may include a user control (eg a drop-down menu) from which a desired language may be selected. The multi-language interface object may include a plurality of language parameters changeable to indicate a first and second desired language of the graphical display view.
