    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch antenna having new configuration and to provide an electronic apparatus using the antenna. SOLUTION: A dielectric plate constituting a patch antenna 1 is composed of the wall part 2 of a housing constituting an electronic apparatus. A ground plate 3 constituting the patch antenna 1 is formed on the inner surface 2B of the wall part 2 of the housing, and a patch constituting the patch antenna is formed on the outer surface 2A of the wall part 2 of the housing. Thus, the patch antenna 1 is constituted integrally with the electronic equipment by using a space which originally exists in the housing constituting the electronic apparatus without the need of a special space.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure using no signal cable as a transmission means of a high frequency signal between a main body of an electric device with a cover such as a notebook personal computer(PC) and the cover. SOLUTION: When the cover 104 of the notebook PC is closed, a high frequency signal from radio equipment 108 provided on the main body 101 is transmitted from a 1st antenna 106 to a 2nd antenna 109, and then emitted externally from a 3rd antenna 111. In this structure, since the high frequency is transmitted with non-contact from the antenna 106 of the main body 101 to the antenna 109 of the cover 104, no signal cable interconnecting the main body 101 and the cover 104 is required.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve impedance matching performance being equivalent to that when a connection is made by a coaxial connector, at a low price with high operability as to extension card standards of existent miniPCI, etc. SOLUTION: A mother board 7, a signal line 12 formed on the mother board 7, a plurality of ground lines 13 which are formed on both the sides of the signal line 12 in parallel at intervals, a card board 10, a signal line 14 which is formed on the card board 10, a plurality of ground lines 15 which are formed on both the sides of the signal line 14 in parallel at intervals, and a line connector 9; and the signal line 12 and signal line 14 are connected together by a conductor 16 in the connector 9 and the ground lines 13 and ground lines 15 are connected together by a conductor 17 in the connector 9. A high-frequency module 11 is connected to the signal line 14 and an antenna is connected to the signal line 12 through the high-frequency receptacle 8. A high-frequency signal is transmitted to the signal line 12, the conductor 16, and the signal line 4 with low insertion loss.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display, a computer terminal and an antenna which enables an antenna to be installed without enlarging its frame or downsizing a display panel, and can receive radio waves sufficiently well, if the frame is made of a conductive material. SOLUTION: A notebook type computer terminal has a thin sheet-like slot antenna 20, installed in a gap between a display panel 13 and a sidewall 16 of a display panel frame 14, with its a transmitter-receiver 20a being projected over a prescribed length from a conductive material-made casing 13A of the display panel 13 and a stay 21. The antenna 20 has a ground part 20b connected to the ground of a radio wave-signal converter circuit and also to the conductive material-made frame 14 via the stay 21.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce EMI radiation by converting data to be put on a plurality of data lines in such a mode that the EMI generated from the data lines are reduced as compared with the case where the data are not converted. CONSTITUTION: When a SYNC signal which is one of interface signals is real, n-bit counters 110 and 120 are reset and, when the SYNC signal is false, the counters 110 and 120 make counting operations. Adders 120 and 220 respectively add the output values of the counters 110 and 120 to data '1',..., 'n' at every bit including carries. Timing adjusting circuits 130 and 230 make the output value of the counter 110 to be properly subtracted by means of a signal demodulation circuit 200 by adjusting the operations of a signal conversion circuit 100 and the operating timing of the circuit 200. When, for example, all bits of the data '1',..., 'n' do not change for more than a fixed period of time, the data conversion by means of the circuit 100 is not required, because EMI radiation is originally less.
