Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flap open and close mechanism that does not give a problem for opening and closing of the flap, even if the height of the turn plate of the flap is shortened and made thin. SOLUTION: The flap open and close mechanism 20 comprise flaps 40 A, B which open and close the opening formed in the housing of a notebook personal computer, a first axis portion 46A and a second axis portion 46B which respectively support rotatably the turn plate 44A, B formed by bending the flaps 40A, B, an insertion hole 58 formed at the coupling face 54 of the flap 40 and an open pin 60 to be inserted into the insertion hole 58 from the outside. The positions of the first axis portion 46A and the second axis 48B are established according to the height of the turn plate 44, so that the rotating moment of opening the flap 40 reward outside the housing is larger than the rotating moment of opening toward inside. By this arrangement, it is possible to shorten the height of the turn plate 44, thereby the flap open and close mechanism 20 can be made thinner.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna structure for antenna used for an electronic apparatus, capable of implementing calibration of frequency shifting for the antenna after the last assembly of the electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: An antenna structure 10 installed at an electronic apparatus comprises a radiating element 11 for receiving/radiating electric waves, a ground (GND) 12 arranged with a predetermined gap for the radiating element 11, a frequency shifting dielectric 20 arranged close to or contact with the radiating element 11 and capable of being moved at least a part of it after radiating element 11 is mounted at the electronic apparatus, and a calibration screw 21 for attaching the frequency shifting dielectric 20 to the ground 12. The frequency shifting dielectric 20 is turned by rotating the calibration screw 21 to adjust a distance between the radiating element 11 and the frequency shifting dielectric 20. Consequently, the center of frequencies can be aligned. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrical equipment having a detachable input device capable of overcoming the demerit of a radio system such as a communication failure or a use failure caused by the discharge of a battery while maintaining the merit of the radio system of enlarging a work space without obstructive cables being spread and dispensing with wiring in setting up. SOLUTION: A notebook type PC (personal computer) 1 used as an example of the electrical equipment is provided with a PC body 3 and a keyboard 4 used as an input device constituted to be detachable from the PC body 3. Such a notebook type PC 1 is provided with the detachable keyboard 4 usable by both wire and wireless in the separated state of the keyboard 4 from the PC body 3.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve impedance matching performance being equivalent to that when a connection is made by a coaxial connector, at a low price with high operability as to extension card standards of existent miniPCI, etc. SOLUTION: A mother board 7, a signal line 12 formed on the mother board 7, a plurality of ground lines 13 which are formed on both the sides of the signal line 12 in parallel at intervals, a card board 10, a signal line 14 which is formed on the card board 10, a plurality of ground lines 15 which are formed on both the sides of the signal line 14 in parallel at intervals, and a line connector 9; and the signal line 12 and signal line 14 are connected together by a conductor 16 in the connector 9 and the ground lines 13 and ground lines 15 are connected together by a conductor 17 in the connector 9. A high-frequency module 11 is connected to the signal line 14 and an antenna is connected to the signal line 12 through the high-frequency receptacle 8. A high-frequency signal is transmitted to the signal line 12, the conductor 16, and the signal line 4 with low insertion loss.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display, a computer terminal and an antenna which enables an antenna to be installed without enlarging its frame or downsizing a display panel, and can receive radio waves sufficiently well, if the frame is made of a conductive material. SOLUTION: A notebook type computer terminal has a thin sheet-like slot antenna 20, installed in a gap between a display panel 13 and a sidewall 16 of a display panel frame 14, with its a transmitter-receiver 20a being projected over a prescribed length from a conductive material-made casing 13A of the display panel 13 and a stay 21. The antenna 20 has a ground part 20b connected to the ground of a radio wave-signal converter circuit and also to the conductive material-made frame 14 via the stay 21.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique inhibiting access to a computer when the security device of the computer with a security function is illegally removed. SOLUTION: A security device is hardware taking responsibility for a part of the security function of a computer and inhibits access with the following procedures when illegally removed. Data indicating that the security device is mounted on the computer is stored and held in a nonvolatile memory. After that, a procedure to inhibit access to the computer is started with some event such as power-on as a start. Next, it is detected on the basis of the data in memory that the security device has been mounted. It is further detected that the security device is now removed from the computer. When the security device is now removed even through it has been mounted, access to the computer is inhibited.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mount more than two kinds of portable computers on a docking device to use them. CONSTITUTION: A connector 24 for the personal computer 12 is fitted to a main body 20. A pair of guide members 30 are formed on the supporting face 22A of a main body cover 22 so that they extend along the protruding direction of the connector 24. A flat tray 28 on which the personal computer 12 is installed is supplied so that it can slide. A connector 26 for the personal computer whose size differs from the personal computer 12 and which is a size smaller than the personal computer 12 is supported in a position a little to the left of the main body 20.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notebook-sized personal computer containing an antenna which can transmit and receive stably even with a rear cover having conductivity. SOLUTION: A recess 24 occupies the most part of the main surface of a conductive rear cover 16 in which an LCD 18 is mounted at the inside, and is formed at the outside of the conductive rear cover 16. A plate-like antenna 26 having inverse F antennas 28, 30, and 32 and a large ground 34 is mounted in the recess 24. Further, the plate-like antenna 26 is covered with a decoration plate 62 made of a resin, etc. The plate-like antenna 26 is brought into electric contact with the conductive rear cover 16. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a connector wherein an earthing of the whole connector is strengthened and wherein the stabilization of action of an electronic equipment for EMI/ESD is aimed at. SOLUTION: As for an interface connector 10, protruding portions 14A, 14B and 14C are respectively formed at an upper face 12A and lower surface 12B of a metal shell 12. The relationship of height among these protruding portions has become; protruding portion 14A > protruding 14B > protruding portion 14C. By this, even if a metal shell of counterpart connector is fitted into a metal shell 12 and the central part of the shell inside face is deformed to swell out, a difference of contact pressure at the protruding portions 14A, 14B and 14C can be made small.
