Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the browser sharing method and system which is not required to previously install a control mechanism in a computer to perform the sharing of a browser. SOLUTION: A collaboration server is prepared to accumulate the sharing pages from a Web server holding the original pages and includes a cache manager which accumulates the pages generated dynamically by the Web server for the sharing purpose, a communication manager which performs the session management such as the communication and the participation/withdrawal between the node managers which manage browsers existing on every user machine, an ordinary Web server which downloads a mechanism to attain the sharing of the said Web server and an embedder which embeds a page manager in every page. Each of plural user machines consists of an existing Web browser which can execute both Java and Script and a page manager which is embedded in every page.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To advance a conference in real time by sharing an application program by all terminal equipments in a matched state even though activation is not performed or it is during execution. CONSTITUTION: By the instruction of a keyboard 26i, a shared application registration part 56i reads and loads one common application. Then, the address of a module and an initialization routine loaded to the shared application are entered to a shared application table 62i. Then, the registration part 56i calls the read common application and the initialization routine, obtains the address of a call-back routine corresponding to a conference event and enters it to a call-back routine table 64i. The processing is performed for all the shared applications. Thus, a conference control part 42i defines a conference state as the conference event, informs a common application part 44i of it and thus, keeps a consistent state.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow plural users of an internet to simultaneously operate the cooperative work (reading, moving, and changing) of an HTML page by allowing a browser used on an internet to simultaneously control the other browsers used on the internet. SOLUTION: A web shared manager 160 of a receiving side shared client 150B receives a duplicated event (for example, browser request) and message for allowing the receiving side shared client 150B to execute a duplicated event/ message for allowing the browsers of a shared client computer system between a source and a receiving side to process the same event/message from a web shared manager 160 of a source shared client 150A. Thus, an event/message including control and an address is shared between the both clients 150A and 150B. That is, the display and control of the same web page can be simultaneously operated on all the shared clients.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a virtual conference system which can intuitively, clearly and effectively expedite proceedings. CONSTITUTION: All terminals 161 to 16K are connected with one another through a network, attendants 181 to 18K who operate each terminal are shown as agents 201 to 20K and the agents 201 to 20K are shown in a virtual conference window 62 that shows a complete view of a conference room which is shown in a display screen of every terminal. When each attendant is given the right to speak or use the blackboard in conference, his agent shows which attendant has the right by moving to the platform or in front of the blackboard in response to the attendant's behavior. The volume, etc., of voices are controlled and also the situation is shown by agents' movement in response to a secret story among attendants and the chairperson's remark. Thus, a conference proceeding state is visually shown through each agent's movement by transmitting moving information of each attendant in conference to each terminal.
