    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing semi-fermented tea beverage and fermented tea beverage each easy to drink, where generation of dregs caused after heat sterilization is suppressed and highly concentrated catechins improved in appearance are contained. SOLUTION: The method for producing semi-fermented tea beverage and fermented tea beverage each containing 0.05 wt.% of non-polymer catechins and subjected to sterilization, comprises the following process: brewing semi- fermented tea or fermented tea to obtain tea extract, removing tea leaves from the extract followed by mixing the tea extract liquid with the concentrated substance of semi-fermented tea extract liquid or fermented tea extract liquid at high temperatures of 45°C to 95°C, cooling the mixed tea solution to -5°C to 18°C followed by filtering the cooled solution.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain disintegrable particles comprising water-insoluble aggregated primary particles, having a specific ratio of bulk specific gravity to true specific gravity and good in feeling of use, massage feeling and disintegrating properties. SOLUTION: These disintegrable particles comprise at least partially water- insoluble aggregated primary particles in 0.1-0.6 (bulk specific gravity)/(true specific gravity) ratio and are capable of disintegrating the aggregation by reducing the concentration of water-soluble salts in an aqueous solution containing the water-soluble salts. The disintegrable particles are preferably obtained by bonding and aggregating the water-insoluble primary particles with a water-soluble binder and the binder preferably contains at least one kind of binder component selected from the group consisting of a carboxylic acid-modified polyvinyl alcohol, a sulfonic acid-modified polyvinyl alcohol and a carboxymethyl cellulose salt. The average particle diameter of the disintegrable particles is preferably 125-800 μm. The water-soluble binder is preferably used in an amount of 0.75-25 wt.% based on the weight of the primary particles.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decayable particlewhich gives less damage to skin and itch due to decay of the particle during s process of washing and rinsing and a detergent composition which contains said decayable particle and shows excellent detergency and washing-out ability due to easy decay of the decayable particle by rinsing water and tears. SOLUTION: A decayable particle is formed by coagulation of a primary particle at least a part of which is insoluble in water and the coagulation is destroyed by decrease of concentration of water soluble salt of an aqueous solution containing a water soluble salt. The detergent composition contains a decayable particle, the water soluble salt, a surface active agent and water wherein the concentration of water soluble salt is less than the concentration of the saturated solubility. The detergent composition shows excellent physical (mechanical) detergency, less time dependence thereof and good availability and further gives less damage and itch to skin and excellent washing-out ability due to ease decay of the decayable particle by rinsing water and tears.

SOLUTION: Water-soluble primary particles having an average size of 70 μm or lower are bound and agglomerated with 0.5-30 wt.% water-soluble binder to give disintegrable particles having an average size of 100-800 μm. Pref., the disintegrable particles disintegrate in an aq. soln. contg. lower than 1.5 wt.% water-soluble salt and the disintegration ratio is 80 vol.% or higher. A detergent compsn. contg. 1-25 wt.% disintegrable particles. an inorg. salt in a concn. of 1.5 wt.% or higher but lower than the saturation concn., a surfactant, and water exhibits disintegration of at least 80 vol.% of the disintegrable particles in cleaning and rinsing an object to be cleaned.

SOLUTION: The chlorogenic acids of the present invention have an excellent PPAR-dependent gene transcription-activating activity, and particularly activates the lipid metabolism by activating the gene having the PPAR responsive element(PPRE) in a gene transcription-controlling area, and thereby they have effects on various lifestyle-related diseases.
