In this case, the cross-sectional area in the vessel 1 and the number of the holes in the orifice plate 2 have a relation of 110-200 holes/100 cm2.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniform liquid drops to be formed. SOLUTION: An object liquid for liquid drop formation is sprayed from a porous member 4 having a great number of spray holes 5 into a liquid in a state of continuous phase stored in a container. The sprayed liquid is vibrated and dispersed into the liquid in the state of the continuous phase to form the liquid drops. The great number of the spray holes 5 are arranged in a ring- shaped zone. Several empty zones 6 in which no spray holes 5 are set are formed at intervals in the circumferential direction in the ring-shaped zone in which the spray holes 5 are arranged.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a highly water-absorbent polymer safely at a high productivity without using an org. solvent by adding a specific cross-linker to an aq. soln. of a specific water-sol. polymer to cause cross-linking and to simultaneously carry out water removal and granulation. SOLUTION: This polymer is produced by kneading 0.005-5wt.% cross-linker having at least two carboxyl-reactive groups with a 30-95wt.% aq. soln. of a carboxylated polymer having a wt. average mol-wt. of 20,000-3.000,000 on a kneader at 50-200 deg.C under a pressure of 100-500Torr for 5min to 5hr to cause cross-linking and to simultaneously carry out water removal and granulation. Finer granules can be obtd. by kneading in the presence of a surfactant or an inert inorg. powder. If necessary the cross-linking is caused in the presence of a polymerizable monomer and a polymn. initiator to simultaneously cause polymn., thus giving a polymer with a high gel strength.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a granular and/or powdery bathing agent composition capable of favorably emulsifying and dispersing oily component by blending a capsule in which an oily component and surfactant are sealed as bathing agent ingredients with a bathing base. CONSTITUTION:The bathing agent composition is obtained by including a surfactant-containing seamless capsule in which oily component such as oils and fats, wax, hydrocarbons, higher fatty acids, essential oils and a surfactant component, preferably a nonionic surfactant having 7-18, especially 8-13 HLB are sealed as a bathing agent component in a granular or powdery bathing base. The capsule is prepared by continuously each discharging a film-forming liquid from the utmost nozzle, liquids for various kinds of inner layers containing oily components and surfactant components from other nozzles into a vapor phase or liquid phase using at least triple or more multiple nozzle to form a multilayer liquid drop and then curing and gelling the liquid for film-formation of the multilayer liquid drop.

A cationic polyvinyl alcohol obtained by treating polyvinyl alcohol with any of various cation-forming agents into a cation can be used as the cationic polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl alcohol obtained by totally or partially saponifying polyvinyl acetate can be used as the polyvinyl alcohol and has 100-3,000 polymerization degree. A reaction product of polyvinyl alcohol and a glycidylammonium halide or a reaction product of polyvinyl alcohol, epichlorohydrin and a polyalkylenepolyamine may be cited as the cationic modified polyvinyl alcohol. The amount of the compound blended is 0.01-1.0 based on the killing agent by weight ratio.

CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic containing one or two or more of copolymers obtained by copolymerizing a long-chain alkyl (meth)acrylate prepared by esterifying an alcohol having >=8C alkyl group with (meth)acrylic acid, etc. and a methacrylic or acrylic acid ester having a fluoroalkyl group, e.g. >=4C perfluoroalkyl group or polyfluoroalkyl group, linked thereto, preferably at 10:1-1:5 weight ratio, particularly 7:1-1:1 weight ratio as a film-forming component. The cosmetic has resistance to water, oil and further physical friction due to the film-forming property thereof.
