Abstract:
The object of the invention is a traction sheave elevator and a rope that contains metal as a load-bearing material, such as the suspension rope of an elevator, which rope comprises at least one or more strands laid from metal wires and which rope is lubricated with a lubricant. Another object is the use of the aforementioned lubricant for lubricating the rope. The lubricant comprises at least oil and thickener, which thickener in the lubricant comprises at least 10% or more of the mass of the lubricant.
Abstract:
A hoisting device rope has a width larger than a thickness thereof in a transverse direction of the rope. The rope includes a load-bearing part made of a composite material, said composite material comprising non-metallic reinforcing fibers, which include carbon fiber or glass fiber, in a polymer matrix. An elevator includes a drive sheave, an elevator car and a rope system for moving the elevator car by means of the drive sheave. The rope system includes at least one rope that has a width that is larger than a thickness thereof in a transverse direction of the rope. The rope includes a load-bearing part made of a composite material. The composite material includes reinforcing fibers in a polymer matrix.
Abstract:
The object of the invention is a traction sheave elevator and a rope (3) that contains metal as a load-bearing material, such as the suspension rope of an elevator, which rope comprises at least one or more strands (7) laid from metal wires (9) and which rope (3) is lubricated with a lubricant (8). Another object is the use of the aforementioned lubricant for lubricating the rope (3). The lubricant (8) comprises at least oil and thickener, which thickener in the lubricant (8) comprises at least 10% or more of the mass of the lubricant (8).
Abstract:
A sliding guide shoe includes at least a body part, which includes at least a slide pad space for a slide pad as well as at least one fixing part for fixing the sliding guide shoe to its base. The body part is essentially the same in its cross-sectional profile throughout its whole length. An elevator is also provided with the sliding guide shoe.
Abstract:
Elevator, which comprises at least an elevator car and means for moving the elevator car, preferably along guide rails, and an overspeed governor arrangement, which comprises an overspeed governor rope, which moves according to the movement of the elevator car, and which overspeed governor rope is connected to a brake arrangement that is in connection with the elevator car such that with the overspeed governor rope force can be transmitted to the brake arrangement for shifting the brake comprised in the brake arrangement into a braking position. The rope comprises a power transmission part or a plurality of power transmission parts, for transmitting force in the longitudinal direction of the rope, which power transmission part is essentially fully of non-metallic material.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a condition monitoring method for a rope of a lifting device, more particularly of a passenger transport elevator and/or freight transport elevator, wherein the condition of the rope is monitored by means of an optical fiber and/or fiber bundle (2), and if it is detected that the strain and/or displacement of an optical fiber and/or fiber bundle (2) has increased and/or the condition of same has decreased over a certain pre-defined limit value, a need to replace or overhaul the rope or ropes is diagnosed and rope replacement work or rope maintenance work is started.
Abstract:
Abstract The invention relates to an elevator comprising a first elevator unit (1) vertically movable in a hoistway (H); a second elevator unit (2) vertically movable in a hoistway (H); a suspension roping (R) comprising one or more belt shaped suspension ropes (3a,3b,3c) interconnecting the first elevator unit (1) and the second elevator unit (2); a drive wheel for moving said one or more belt-shaped suspension ropes (3a,3b,3c); a plurality of cambered diverting wheels (4, 6); said one or more belt-shaped suspension ropes (3a,3b,3c) each passing around the drive wheel (5) and comprising consecutively - a first rope section (a) extending between the drive wheel (5) and the first elevator unit (1); and - a second rope section (b) extending between the drive wheel (5) and the second elevator unit (2) wherein both rope sections (a, b) diverge from the drive wheel (5) towards the same lateral side thereof, the first rope section (a) passing over a first cambered diverting wheel (4), in particular resting against a cambered circumferential surface area (A,B,C) thereof, and therefrom down to the first elevator unit (1), and the second rope section (b) passing over a second cambered diverting wheel (6), in particular resting against cambered circumferential surface area (A,B,C) thereof, and therefrom down to the second elevator unit (2).
