Abstract: PURPOSE:To promote the circulation of refrigerant in a communicating tube and improve the cooling effect of a compressor by a method wherein the inlet part of the communicating tube is constituted of a T-shape path to utilize the upper path for refrigerant circulating path and the lower path for lubricating oil returning oil returning path while the inlet port is opposed to the delivery port of compression mechanism with a given inteval. CONSTITUTION:Refrigerant, compressed by a compression mechanism 4, is discharged out of a refrigerant discharging port 6a into the inlet port 9a of the communicating tube 9 and collides against the communicating tube 9 at an intermediate part between the upper path or the refrigerant circulating path 13 and the lower path or the lubricating oil returning path 14 while the lubricating oil, separated together with the refrigerant, is separated here. The separated lubricating oil returns into an enclosed casing from the returning path 14 through an extension path 14a and only the refrigerant circulates through the communicating tube. The refrigerant is cooled gradually by first-third radiators 10-12 and becomes liquid refrigerant near the outlet port 9b of the communicating tube 9, then, returns into the enclosed casing and cools the main body 1 of the rotary compressor.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve cooling efficiency and prevent operation sounds of a compressor and a fan from leaking frontally by forming an air suction inlet in a placement plate constituting part for dividing a machine chamber formed below a refrigerator, the air suction inlet being located just under a condenser. CONSTITUTION:A machine 11 formed under the back side of the same is defined by an outside bottom plate 12, a placement plate 13, and a machine chamber cover 14, and the inside of the same is divided into an upstream machine chamber 11a and a downstream machine chamber 11b by a partition plate 6. A condenser 15 and a fan 14 are laterally disposed on the placement plate 13 and a compressor 3 is provided oppositely to the partition plate 16. An evaporation dish 5 is disposed upwardly of the compressor 3. An air suction inlet 16a is fanned in the placement plate 13 just under the condenser 15, and an air suction inlet 16b is formed to a machine chamber cover 14 of the upstream machine chamber 11a. Further, a rib 18 is provided on the back of the machine chamber cover 14 extending vertically in the middle of the machine chambers 11a, 11b to prevent exhaust air from being short-circuitted.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of noise in a connecting part between a first and a second capillary tube and in the second capillary tube by a method wherein the capillary tube is constituted of the first capillary tube and the second capillary tube, having an inner diameter larger than that of the first capillary tube, and the connecting part is buried into heat insulating material while the outlet part of the second capillary tube is connected to the inlet port tube of a cooler in the inner casing, in a refrigerating cycle, in which a compressor, a condenser, the capillary tubes, a cooler and a suction tube are connected in series sequentially. CONSTITUTION:A cycle, in which refrigerant is compressed by a compressor 35 to change it into gas refrigerant and is condensed by a condenser to change it into liquid refrigerant, then, the pressure of liquid refrigerant is reduced in a first capillary tube 25 and a second capillary tube 26 and the temperature of the refrigerant becomes lower by evaporation in a cooler 27 while the refrigerant, changed into gaseous body, returns into the compressor 35 through a suction pipe 28, is repeated in a refrigerating cycle. Upon reducing the pressure of the refrigerant, the connecting part 31 between the first capillary tube 25 and the second capillary tube 26, having an inner diameter larger than the same of the first capillary tube 25, is buried into heat insulating material 24 while the outlet part 26a of the second capillary tube is connected to the inlet pipe 30 of a cooler in the inner casing 23. According to this method, the transfer of noise into a room can be prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the cooling effect of a compressor with air from a blower and enhance the vaporization action of a defrost water pan as well by convecting the flow of air from a cooling blower for a compressor installed in a machine room in the order of the compressor, a heating plate, a defrost water pan, a machine room cover, and an exhaust port. CONSTITUTION:A machine chamber 11 is partitioned into halves. A compressor 15 and a cooling blower 14 for the compressor 12 are laid out in one section while a heating plate 17 and a defrost water pan 16 are laid out in the other section. A machine chamber cover 19 and an exhaust port 20 are installed to the rear side of the machine chamber 11 and the cooling blower 14 for the compressor is laid out to the side of the compressor 15. An air suction port 13 is installed on a placement board 12 in the lower part behind the compressor in order to convect the flow of air from the cooling blower 14 for the compressor in the machine chamber 11 in the order of the compressor 15, the heating plate 17, the defrost water pan, and the exhaust port 20 of the machine chamber cover 19. This construction makes it possible to enhance the cooling effect of the compressor 15 and improve the vaporization action of the defrost water pan 16 by the heat generated from the heating plate 17 located in the lower part of the defrost water pan 16 and hence enhance the convection effect by the air supplied from the cooling blower 14 for the compressor.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily perform ice separation from an upper and a lower dishes, surely separate opaque ice from the upper dish and practically use transparent ice by providing a bottom face and vertical ribs in the inside of small divisions of the lower dish formed by approximately reverse V-shaped division walls. CONSTITUTION:When a lever 3 and a flange 2e of a lower dish 2 are held, its force is doubled by a lever ratio and acts on so as to separate an upper dish 1 from the lower dish 2. At this time, the upper dish 1 rotates on the center of a flange 1f at the reverse side of the lever 3 and can turn without the collision with recesses and projections of ice of small divisions 2c when a trace of the upper dish 1 are illustrated. However, the trace of ice in the small divisions 2c surely collides with ribs 2g, because it receives reverse direction force from the rib 2g, drops from the rear face of the upper dish 1 and remains on the lower dish 2. Furthermore, because the contact area of opaque ice in the small division 2c and the inner face of the lower dish 2 is increased by providing the rib 2g and fixed strength increases, when the upper dish 1 is raised up by the lever 3, the opaque ice is easier to remain in the small division 2c of the lower dish 2 than the rear face of the upper dish 1.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make ice suitable for drinking sensuously by a method wherein the title vessel is provided with an upper vessel, a plurality of small partitions, open holes on the bottom thereof and ribs extended orthogonally to the slanted surfaces of the small partitions, and a lower vessel provided with recesses on the bottom surface thereof at positions opposing to the ribs. CONSTITUTION:The upper vessel 4 of an ice making vessel is constituted of a plurality of small partitions 5, formed therein, communicating grooves 6 for communicating water in the mall partitions 5 with each other to unify the height of water level, ribs 7 extended orthogonally to the slanted surfaces 5a of the small partitions 5 and open holes 8 provided on the bottom 5b of the small partitions 5. A lower vessel 9 is provided with recesses 11 on the bottom surface 10 thereof while the recesses 11 are abutted against the ribs 7 of the upper vessel 4. When the upper vessel 4 of the ice making vessel is fitted to the lower vessel 9 and the small partitions 5 is filled with water respectively to make ice in the refrigerating chamber of a domestic refrigerator, air layers 12a, 12b, 12c are formed between the upper vessel 4 and the lower vessel 9 and gas constituent and impurities, resolved in water, are sealed into the air layers 12a, 12b, 12c whereby ice, having comparatively high transparency, may be produced in the small partitions 5 of the upper vessel 4.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an inflow of oil to inside a refrigerant circuit and reduce a level of noise, by providing an oil separating member, formed by a porous metal, to be arranged in the vicinity of the delivery hole of a delivery cover and displaying an effect of separating the oil from refrigeraut delivery gas and damping its pressure pulsation. CONSTITUTION:A delivery cover 6 arranges in the vicinity of its delivery hole 6a a circular shaped oil separating member (metal wool) 11 formed by a porous metal. The metal wool 11, being constituted by a metallic material having numberless independent holes (not shown in the drawing), separates an oil drip and only oil even from a refrigerant of oil mist state to be absorbed to said holes, and a compressor, returning lubricating oil 5 by its dead weight to an oil layer in an enclosed casing 2, prevents an inflow of the lubricating oil in a large quantity in a refrigerant delivery pipe 7. In this way, the compressor, enabling a flow of the lubricating oil to a refrigerant circuit to be prevented, can both display the essential refrigerating power and reduce the pressure pulsation with no decrease of heat radiating power of a condenser.
