    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of the cooling capacity by the closure of a capillary tube due to the generation of contamination, as for a refrigerant compressor and a refrigeration system. CONSTITUTION:The discharge chamber 50 of a refrigerant compressor is equipped with the first physical filter 56 which has has gas holes and is installed so as to cover all the peripheral grooves formed on the discharge chamber side wall 54 of a discharge passage 53 and the second chemical filter 57 which is formed by compounding alumina and the compound of the alkaline earth elements.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a capillary tube from clogging due to the growth of contaminants by a method wherein a dryer with water-absorbent, which is enclosed in a cafe and held between two filters, is mounted on a refrigerant path between a condenser and an expansion device and a third filter is arranged in a case located apart from the filters. CONSTITUTION:A dryer is provided with a water-absorbent, e.g. a molecular sieve 13, enclosed in a metallic case 12 and first and second filters 14a and 14b which hold the molecular sieve 13 from both sides to fix it and mounted on a refrigerant path between a condenser 2 and an expansion device 4. A third filter 15 is held in a cup-shaped holder 16 which is put in the case 12 and fixed at a position a short distance away from the first and second filters 14a and 14b so that the third filter 15 is prevented from coming in contact with the first and second filters 14a and 14b and the molecular sieve 13. Thereby, contaminants to be deposited on a compressor, the condenser 2, an evaporator and a capillary tube as the expansion device 4 as well are filtered out.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable rotary compressor which is excellent in abrasion resistance by forming one of a slidingly movable material in a compressing mechanism out of cast iron, an iron type sintered material or the like, and forming the other of an iron type material which is composed of chromium and nitrogen formed by a PVD method and has a compound layer having the specific chromium content on a surface. SOLUTION: A rotary compressor used in a refrigerating cycle or the like, houses a compressing mechanism composed of a cylinder, a roller, a crank, a vane or the like in a sealed casing. In this case, the cylinder being one of a slidingly movable member is made of cast iron, and the other vane is formed of an iron type metallic material having on a surface a compound layer 21 mainly composed of chromium and nitrogen formed by a PVD method. The compound layer 21 is manufactured so that the content of chromium becomes 50wt.% to 60wt.% and its surface hardness becomes 1000Hv or more. Preferably, the compound layer 21 is formed after a nitriding layer 24 containing nitrogen not less than 3wt.% up to a depth not less than 20μm from a surface is formed in an iron type material 22.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a cost-reduced refrigerating apparatus requiring less labor and capable of dealing with newly arising problems of combustibility by using hydrocarbon refrigerant and mineral oil or alkyl benzene. CONSTITUTION:A gas charge port tube 30a of a refrigerating apparatus containing in a sealed state refrigerating machine oil and refrigerant primary contents of which are hydrocarbon and HFC-152a contains in the interior thereof 42 from a pinched sealed part 41 to a tip end a polymer 43 having a diameter approximately same as the inner diameter, and the tube 30a is deformed from outside of the polymer 43. The inside section area of the tube 30a is reduced by deformation. The inside surface of the tube and the outer surface of the polymer come in close contact with each other all around at a deformed portion 44 so that a secure sealing is performed and leakage of refrigerant is prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To fix a fixing scroll without giving it local concentration of stress by providing the fixed scroll, a rotating scroll, a specific block, and a plurality of plate springs, and by storing the fixing scroll and the block to the groove of the block in a sandwiched manner, and whereby fixing them. CONSTITUTION:A fixing scroll 4a, a rotating scroll 5, and a block 3a, the linear expansion coefficient of which is almost equal to that of the fixing scroll 4a, and which has a groove 3aa on the outer periphery, are provided. A plurality of plate springs 9 to be stored in the groove 3aa of the block, for sandwiching the fixing scroll 4a and the block 3a to be fixed, are provided. After the fixing scroll 4a and the rotating scroll 5 are positioned, and when the fixing scroll 4a and the block 3a are to be fixed, the plate springs 9 are stored in the groove 3aa provided on the outer periphery of the block 3a, and they are sandwiched between the plate springs 9, and are fixed thereby. By fixing them through the flat force of the plate spring 9, stress concentration can be dispersed.
