The tip end 34 is sealed by soldering.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the peeling resistance of a film when HFC-134 is used as a coolant and to reduce a noise by forming the phosphoric acid manganese chemical conversion film arranged with grains having different grain sizes in turn on the surface of the ferrous sliding components of a compressor used for an air conditioner. SOLUTION: When a shaft 4 pressed into a rotor 2 is rotated by a motor constituted of a rotor 2 and a stator 3, a piston 8 is reciprocated in a cylinder 12 via a connecting rod 5 fitted to the eccentric section of the shaft 4, and coolant gas is continuously sucked and compressed. The piston 8 made of a ferrous material having a phosphoric acid manganese chemical conversion film as a base material 15 is employed in this rotary compressor, and grains 13 with a small grain size and grains 14 with a large grain size are arranged in turn on the surface of the base material 15. The quantity of oil capable of being held on the phosphoric acid manganese chemical conversion film is increased as compared with the case that grains with a single grain size are arranged.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve abrasion resistance by determining the ratios of alumina ceramic, carbon and zirconia for specified ratios, respectively, in the composition ratio of powder composite material. SOLUTION: One of sliding members in a compression mechanism is made of cast iron and sintered materials. The other of the sliding members is made of a composite material of powder of alumina ceramic (Al2 O3 ) 78-84 wt.%, powder of carbon (C) 15-20 wt.% and powder of zirconia (ZrO2 ) 1-2 wt.%. The composite material of powder of alumina ceramic (Al2 O3 ), powder of carbon (C) and powder of zirconia (ZrO2 ) is made to have an action improving abrasion resistance by making the composite material have a composition ratio of alumina ceramics (Al2 O3 ) 78-84 wt.% carbon (C) 15-20 wt.% and zirconia (ZrO2 ) 1-2 wt.%.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve wear resistance and seizure resistance by constituting one side of a slide material in a compression mechanism by a cost iron and iron system sintered material and its other side by a compound material of a titanium minute powder, chromium powder and nickel powder with a specific range rate. SOLUTION: A compression mechanism, refrigerant and refrigerator oil are internally equipped in a sealed up vessel and one side of a slide material in the compression mechanism is constituted by a cast iron and iron system sintered material. The other side is constituted by the compound material of 83-89wt.% of titanium minute powder, 3-5wt.% of chromium powder and 8-12wt.% of nickel powder. Thereby, in addition to the selection of a proper lubrication oil to increase the reliability of a rotary compressor, a slide material excellent in wear resistance can be achieved to supplement the lubrication oil of a refrigerant itself.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve reliability by improving abrasion resistance and seizure resistance of a vane or a roller, and also to improve efficiency by decreasing vibration. CONSTITUTION:In a rotary compressor to be used for a refrigerating cycle, a vane or a roller is constituted of an aluminum composite material wherein heat resistant quench solidifying aluminium powder is taken as a base material, and alumina ceramics particles and graphite whose dispersed particles are formed into spherical shape and thinned are added thereto a little and uniformly dispersed and solidified. Thereby reliability is improved by improving abrasion resistance and seizure resistance of the vane or the roller, and vibration is decreased by using materials having thermal expansion coefficient approximately equal to cast iron part materials for constituting a compression chamber, and lighter than the cast iron materials.
