    Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure the temperature rise of the upper part of a cooler upon defrosting and prevent the cooler from generating faulty cooling due to remaining frost by providing continuous fins fixed to the refrigerant tubes of a lower stage, a middle state and an upper stage. CONSTITUTION:In a cooler 5, continuous fins 9d are attached to the refrigerant tubes 8 of an upper stage, a middle stage and a lower stage with an interval shown by a dimension line (c) in a diagram while independent fins 9b, 9a are attached to the refrigerant tube 8 of the upper stage and the same of the middle stage between the continuous fins 9d with intervals shown by the dimension lines (a), (b) which are shorter than the dimension line (c). In the operation of the cooler 5 thus constituted upon defrosting, the heat of a glass tube heater 6, which is transferred to the lower part of the cooler 5, is transferred to the upper part of the cooler through the refrigerant tube 8 and the continuous fins 9d and, therefore, the temperature of the upper part of the cooler 5 is increased quickly whereby remaining frost can be prevented and the generation of faulty cooling can be reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent ice from protruding without reducing transparency of ice by so connecting the outer faces of adjacent small partitions of the outer periphery of an upper tray with ribs as to form an air layer in the partition wall of the rear face of the upper tray, and forming the ribs obliquely with respect to the outer peripheral flange of the upper tray. CONSTITUTION:When an upper tray 2 is superposed on a lower tray 2 and the outer peripheral flange 14 of the tray 2 is pressed, an engaging pawl 16 is engaged with engaging holes 18, 19 so that the tray 2 is not, even if water is poured, floated. After the water is poured, the small partitions 5 of the tray 2 are filled with the water, the water is then fed into a lower tray 3 via small holes 7 so that both the trays 2 and 3 are filled with the water. However, since ribs 12 are provided on the rear face of the partition walls 4, the water is not fed to form an air layer. An ice making vessel 1 is placed on a heat insulating plate 21 set in a freezing chamber of a refrigerator in this state. When cooling is started, the water starts freezing from the water surface and the inner side faces 11 of the partitions 5 to seal the water therein. In this case, ice generated at an upper layer is intruded into a protrusion 15 formed on the inner side face 11 of the partition 5 to be sufficiently durable against the rise of hydraulic pressure due to the volumetric expansion at the time of icing and not raised upward.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a refrigerator, in which respective chambers are not affected by the suction air of the other chambers and keep independent and stabilized temperature bands, by a method wherein the inside of the refrigerator is partitioned into four chambers and the air suction passages of at least three chambers among four chambers are formed on the inside of lateral partitioning walls in the same plate. CONSTITUTION:A cold storage chamber suction passage 31, a low-temperature chamber suction passage 32 and second cold storage suction passage 33 are formed in a lateral partitioning wall 30 in the same plane. The inside of a refrigerator is partitioned into four chambers by vertical partitioning walls 34, 35. Air, supplied into a cold storage chamber 9, returns into a cooler 29 through a cold storage chamber suction passage 33, air, supplied into the low-temperature chamber 10, returns into the cooler 29 through a low-temperature chamber suction passage 32 and air, supplied into a second cold storage chamber, returns into the cooler 29 through a second cold storage chamber suction passage 33 separately and respectively. The air, supplied into respective chambers, are circulated separately in such a manner, therefore, respective chambers will never be affected by the suction air of the other chambers whereby respective chambers may keep independent and stabilized temperature bands.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of the radiation effect and deformation of an outer box by disposing a radiation pipe and a tape member on the inner surface of the outer box through a buffer material such as a butyl tape or the like provided with a heat storage property and an adhesive property. CONSTITUTION:A buffer material 6 such as a butyl tape or the like provided with a heat storage property and an adhesive property is pasted to the inner surface of an outer box 2. Next, a radiation pipe 5 is pasted to the buffer material 6 pasted part. Thereafter, a tape member 7 is pasted in a form of covering the radiation pipe 5. Since the radiation pipe 5 is disposed on the inner surface of the outer box 2 through the buffer material 6, no spatial layer is generated between the radiation pipe 5 and the outer box 2, and hence it is possible to prevent the lowering of the radiation effect from the radiation pipe 5 and the deformation of the outer box 2. Further, by the existence of the tape member 7, a heat insulating material 4 makes ingress between the radiation pie 5 and the outer box 2 thereby to prevent the lowering of the radiation effect from the radiation pipe 5.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save electric power by disposing a refrigerating compartment and a freezing compartment, respectively, at an upper and lower parts of the body, disposing a vegetable compartment contiguously to the refrigerating compartment between the refrigerating compartment and the freezing compartment and juxtaposing an ice making compartment and a switching compartment between the vegetable compartment and the freezing compartment. SOLUTION: A refrigerating compartment 5 being set at about 4 deg.C is disposed at an upper part of the body and a vegetable compartment 6 being set at about 6 deg.C is disposed below. An ice making compartment 7 being set at about -18 deg.C and a switching compartment 8 are disposed below the vegetable compartment 6 and a freezing compartment 9 being set at about -18 deg.C is disposed thereunder. Since the freezing compartment 9 having lowest temperature is disposed at a lower part, effect of conduction and radiation heat can be reduced and power can be saved through reduction of load on the compressor and motor fan. Furthermore, inner volume can be increased because heat insulation is required only on the upper side.
