Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively eliminate large and small vortexes which are generated at the blade edges by the drifting of air flow passing through an impeller, and to suppress the deterioration of aerodynamic force performance and increase of noise caused by an eddy flow. SOLUTION: Two platy mouse rings 8 and 9 comparting a suction side and a discharge side at the outer periphery of the impeller, and an outer wall 10 surrounding the outer periphery of the mouse rings are provided, and a turning flow circulating space 11 having an opening 12 opposed to the blade of the impeller 7 is provided between the above mouse rings 8 and 9. Since the cross section area of the turning flow circulating space 11 is different over the whole circumference, when the air flow passing through the impeller is drifted, the large and small vortexes which are generated at the blade edges are effectively eliminated by large and small turning flow circulating spaces 11 acting as air circulation passages, and thus, the deterioration of aerodynamic force performance and the increase of noise caused by the eddy flow can be suppressed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of a revolving component in a radially spreading air flow passage air duct, to suppress development of a disturbance boundary layer in the vicinity of the wall surface of a guide simultaneously with deviation of it to a radial component, and to suppress the increase of fluid noise in the air flow passage air duct simultaneously with suppression of deterioration of hydrostatic pressure characteristics and hydrostatic pressure efficiency. SOLUTION: An air flow having a strong revolution component (a peripheral direction) from a blade 5 suppresses the revolution component of an air flow in the vicinity of the guide wall surfaces 7a and 8a by forming a plurality of radial ribs 10 and 11 on the guide wall surfaces 7a and 8a of an air flow passage air duct 9 and deviates it to a radial component. An air flow in the air flow passage air duct 9 is also attracted by its viscosity, the revolving component is suppressed and deviated to the radial component. A disturbance boundary layer in the vicinity of the wall surfaces 7a and 8a of first and second guides 7 and 8 suppresses development.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice making pan, wherein even when small and light weight ice with a small volume, hard ice can be made, and the ice is easily separated, and an automated ice making apparatus or a freezing refrigerator with the pan. SOLUTION: Water is frozen in one direction from an upper section opening 10a of a recessed portion toward a lower portion 10c of the recessed portion, and when ice is expanded in the neighborhood of the recessed portion lower section 10c, extruding force against an inner wall of the lower section 10c of the recessed section 10 is applied in the direction where the ice is pushed out upward of an ice making pan 9. The upward force is not suppressed because the upper surface opening 10a of the recessed section 10 is spread, and hence the ice is separated from an inner wall of the recessed section 10 just-after ice is made without suppressing the force extruded upward.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently ventilate a heat exchanger throughout its entire length with uniformed airflow velocity, increase blowing rate while suppressing noise when blowing and increase heat exchanging rate in the heat exchanger wherein ventilation is conducted by a cross flow fan comprising a number of blades and partitioning plates. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 11 consists of first fins 12a and second fins 12b which are alternately laminated, being parallel to each other, by plural number and a heating tube 13 which are inserted into the fins 12a and 12b at right angle thereto with refrigerant being made to flow therein. The second fins 12b disposed at the upstream side of a partition plate 17 of a cross flow fan 15 are each provided with flaps 14b on one side. The first fins 12a disposed at the upstream of blades 16 between adjacent partition plates 17 are each provided with flaps 14a, 14b on both sides. In this way, noise is suppressed and a blowing rate is increased.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent aerodynamic performance of a multiple blade blower from degrading, and suppress an increase in turbulence and noise by restraining an air flow from being reversed through each gap between plural blades at a position in the axial direction other than the main plate sides of impellers in a place close to the tongue part of a casing. SOLUTION: A reverse flow from the blast port 8 on the main plate side of an impeller 2, is blocked by a member 9a extended in the reverse rotational direction of a tongue part 9 so as to be prevented from being confluent with the flow F1 having a large component in the circumferential direction in a place other than the vicinity of the main plate 3 of the impeller, a reverse flow through each place between the blades 5 are controlled, and the amount of air flowing reversely from the inside of a suction port 7 to the inside of the impeller 2 by way of the side plate 4 of the impeller is restrained from increasing. When the multiple blade blower 1 is to be assembled, the blower is assembled first with no extended member 9a involved, and the extended member is mounted thereto thereafter, so that assembly works can be shortened in production terms, and its production efficiency can be improved.

SOLUTION: A protrusion 20 to cover the bell mouth 15 part of the opening edge 19a of one division piece 19 is formed on the outside of the bell mouth 15 part of the opening edge 18a of the other division piece 18 of which a casing 17 consists. By closing a gap, provided between the contact surfaces of the bell mouth 15 parts of the opening edges 18a and 19a of the two division pieces 18 and 19, with the protrusion 20, an air flow inside the casing 17 is prevented from leakage through the gap to the outside of the casing 17 and deterioration of air supply performance and the increase of the generation of noise are suppressed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress counterflow of the discharged air flow from an impeller to a bell mouth part excessively inside a casing, suppress deterioration of the blowing performance, and suppress increase of a blowing noise. SOLUTION: A blower casing 14 has a convolution part 15 of such a structure that its radius r1 is greater on the main plate 6 side of impeller 9 and the radius r2 on the side with a side-plate 7 is made small, and the convolution part 15 is inclined from the main plate 6 side to the side-plate 7 side of the impeller 9. To the air stream willing to move toward a bell mouth 13, a force in the counter-bell mouth direction is applied from the wall surface of the casing 14 so as to suppress generation of a counterflow, and thereby the blowing performance is improved and an increase in the blowing noise is suppressed.
