    Abstract: PURPOSE:To quickly stabilize a refrigerator to a predetermined temperature at a high load where clogging is produced owing to frosting on a condenser, by counting operation time of a compressor and changing initiation temperature for rotating a fan at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:In control means 13 for controlling a compressor 4 and a cold air circulation fan 6 on the basis of an output signal from refrigerator temperature detector means 8 serving to detect temperature in a freezing chamber in a refrigerator, there is provided a timer 14 for accumulatively counting operation time of the compressor 4. It is judged whether refrigerator temperature is higher or lower than a set value T1 (-22 deg.C for example), and in the case of lower temperature the compressor 4 and the fan 6 are interrupted. In contrast, in the case of higher temperature the fan 6 is rotated at a high speed through revolution control means 11 and the compressor 4 is operated. Then, the value of the timer 14 is checked, and if it exceeds a set value (5 hours for example), refrigerator temperature is compared with a set value T4 (for example, -15 deg.C), and when it is higher than the set value the fan 6 is rotated at a high speed as well.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To protect a thawing heater from operation errors and hence reserve and thaw food in safety by inhibiting forcedly the operation of the thawing heater when a thawing switch continues its OFF mode. CONSTITUTION:When a motor-driven fan 12 is operated and thawing proceeds and a thawing timer 24 judges that specified thawing time is over, it is stored that ON be reset to the operating status of a thawing heater 13 of RAM 18 while OFF be set thereto, which clears the counting time of a thawing timer 24. Since the thawing heater is set to OFF, a transistor 21 is turned OFF so that the conduction of a relay coil 22 may be cut-off, thereby opening a relay contact 23, halting the thawing heater 13 and the auxiliary motor-driven fan and ending the thawing operation. Even if the thawing heater 13, which is a memory part of the RAM 18, is set to ON by an operational failure resultant from noise when a thawing switch 20 is not applied, OFF is already set, which protects the thawing heater from operation failures.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent foods within a refrigerator from being decayed due to a failure of a defrosting heater or the like by a method wherein after an electrical energization of the defrosting heater, if a temperature of a defrosting temperature sensing means is not increased and a time of a defrosting timer is longer than a set time, a control means to be alarmed by an alarm means is provided. CONSTITUTION:When a timer 15 counts for a predetermined time, a compressor 9 is turned OFF and a defrosting heater 10 is turned ON. Then, a temperature of a defrosting temperature sensing means 11 is checked and if the temperature is low, a counter for a defrosting timer 19 is counted up. Then, a value of counter of the defrosting timer 19, i.e., an electrical energization time for the defrosting heater 10 is read and if the time is shorter than a set time, the compressor 9 is turned OFF and in turn if the time is longer than the set time, the defrosting heater 10 is turned OFF and then an output is made to an alarm means 17. Accordingly, in the event that an electrical energization time of the defrosting heater 10 is excessively longer while the temperature sensing means 11 is kept low, it can be judged that the defrosting heater 10 has a failure and then this state is informed to a user with an alarm means 17 such as a buzzer or an LED or the like. With such an arrangement, it is possible to prevent a decay of the foods in the refrigerator.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a dew formation on the surface of a member around a condensor just after a rapid cooling operation by a method wherein just after performing the first operation, the second operation for forcedly stopping and operating a compressor is carried out and an air blower is not operated during the second operation. CONSTITUTION:A rapid cooling switch 12 is turned ON and after a predetermined time elapses, an L signal is inputted to the two inputs of an OR circuit 26, an L signal is also output from an output of the OR circuit 26, an L signal is inputted to one input of an AND circuit 27. The AND circuit 27 outputs an L signal irrespective of an output signal from the OR circuit 17 of the freezing chamber temperature control part 15. Accordingly, a transistor 28 is turned OFF and an electrical conduction for a relay coil 29 is shut off, the second relay contact point 22 is released and then the second air blower 11 is stopped. Due to this fact, during OFF-ON cycle operation of the rotary compressor just after the rapid cooling operation is carried out, the second air blower 11 is stopped without fail, a temperature of coolant is not decreased, the hot coolant is fed to the condensor, a temperature of the member around the condensor is not decreased and the dew formation is not generated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To inform dangerous condition due to the continuous operation of an ozone generator and prevent the dangerous condition due to trouble by a method wherein an alarm is outputted when it is judged that a current detector is detecting the current of operation of the ozone generator and a motor fan in spite that a stopping command is outputted from the controller of deodorizing. CONSTITUTION:A current detector 40, detecting the existence of current for an ozone generator 24 and a motor fan 29, is provided in the driving circuit of the ozone generator 24 and the motor fan 29. When the current is detected by the current detecting circuit 40 in spite that there is no output from a timer, the output of the timer is stopped as it is while the detection of the current is informed by an alarming means 39 to user. When the conduction of the ozone generator 24 and the motor fan 29 is detected by the current detector 40 in spite that a command for stopping the ozone generator 24 and the motor fan 29 is outputted from the timer, it is decided that trouble has occurred and an alarm (flashing of LED, sounding of a buzzer and the like) is outputted to inform it to a user. According to this method, dangerous condition, in which the generation of ozone is continued, may be prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase reliability and restrain temperature rise in a refrigerator when frosting has become excessive by a method wherein defrosting is started after comparing the 'close' time of a damper with a preset value and detecting an atmospheric temperature at that time while the preset value is extended when the atmospheric temperature is low. CONSTITUTION:When a cooling load becomes heavy, the amount of frosting on a cooler is increased and a cold air ventilating resistance is increased whereby the circulating amount of cold air in a refrigerator is reduced and the heat exchanging efficiency of the cooler is also deteriorated. As a result, a motor- driven damper 11 in a refrigerating chamber 9 is left in 'open' condition. Utilizing this phenomenon, the open time of the damper is accumulated and is compared with a preset value. On the other hand, when the cooling load is heavy, defrosting is effected by a defrosting control device 44, having a second timer 42 changing the preset value by an atmospheric temperature, with an interval, in which the defrosting is effected by a first timer 40 which accumulates the operating time of a compressor 26, while the defrosting interval is also changed by the atmospheric temperature and, therefore, highly reliable defrosting control may be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the chilled foodstuff from freezing due to the forced precooling effect when the outside temperature is low and prevent the frozen foodstuff from deteriorating by controlling the temperature increase during the defrosting when the outside temperature is high by changing the forced precooling time in accordance with the outside temperature so that the forced precooling time may be shorter when the outside temperature is lower than the precooling time at the time of high ambient temperatures. CONSTITUTION:When the ambient temperature is high than a predetermined value, the resistance RTH of an ambient temperature thermistor 27 becomes low to cause the output of a comparator 28 to become 'H', and the input to an AND circuit on the side of the comparator 28 becomes 'L' through an inverter circuit 32. The precool timer 20 is then selected to cause the compressor 12 and fan 9 to be operated for a forced precooling. On the other hand, when the ambient temperature is lower than a predetermined value, the resistance R'TH becomes high to cause the output of the comparator to become 'L', and a precool timer 30 is selected. Therefore, the 'H' signal is outputted from the (h) output of the timer 30 for a time period shorter than the (e) output of the timer 20, allowing a forced precooling for a time period shorter than that which is performed under high ambient temperature conditions.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily automate a shell assembling process by setting both width of a part element for composing a shell and one opening part of the other element to facilitate automatic insertion of the other opening part, and narrowing a clearance between overlapping parts by contracting one opening part from an outer peripheral side after inserting the other opening part. SOLUTION: A diameter of a container opening part 21a for housing a joint in a shell is slightly enlarged, and a clearance is formed between the container opening part 21a and a cover opening part 22a to facilitate automatic insertion of the cover opening part 22a. At the time of assembly, the container opening part 21a is contracted from its outer peripheral side after the cover opening part 22a is automatically inserted into the container opening part 21a by an automatic device, and a size(d) of a clearance 24' between overlapping parts is preferably set to 0.2 mm and less. A clearance is arranged between the cover opening part 22a and the container opening part 21a, and thereby, automatic insertion is facilitated, and the clearance between overlapping parts is uniformly narrowed. It is thus possible to reduce power supply at the time of welding.
