    Abstract: A sealed compressor for use in a refrigerator includes a sealed housing having an interior communicated to the outside of the sealed housing through a discharge tube, a compressor element accommodated within the sealed housing, an electric element accommodated within the sealed housing for driving the compressor element, and a coupling tube fluid-connecting the compressor element and the discharge tube within the sealed housing. To avoid a resonant motion of the coupling tube which would otherwise generate obnoxious noise, an inverter controller is employed to allow the electric element to be operated at one of a plurality of frequencies other than the resonance frequency of the coupling tube.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed vessel type compressor which is silent, trouble free and easy to manufacture. SOLUTION: An electric motor element 3, a supporting frame 5 and a compressive element 6 are built-in in a closed vessel 2. The electric motor element 3 is an electric motor composed of a stator 15 and a rotor 16. The stator 15 is employed with a winding of a salient pole concentrated winding type and the winding does not protrude from beneath an annular iron core 70. A lower end of the electric motor element 3 is approximately as high as an upper end of a suspended spring, and moderate spacing is present between the lower end of the electric motor element 3 and a bottom of the closed vessel 2. A lower end of a crankshaft 20 is above an oil level 98 and the lower end of the crankshaft 20 is not submerged in lubricating oil 60. Therefore the lubricating oil 60 is not mixed with a step part 33 even if the crankshaft revolves and a mixing noise of the lubricating 60 is small.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fix a counter weight by mounting the counter weight as a balancing means of a hermetic motor-driven compressor in an electric refrigerator and the like, on an end of a crank pin close to a large end of a connecting rod, forming a stepped part of small outer diameter on an end of the crank pin. SOLUTION: When a motor-driven element 13 in a closed housing 11 is driven, a piston 19 is linearly moved by the rotation of a crank shaft 17 connected to a rotor 16, and a volume of the compression chamber in a cylinder 20 is changed, whereby the coolant gas is discharged under high pressure. On this occasion, a counter weight 21 as a balancing means for the reciprocating inertia force produced by the piston and the centrifugal force produced by a crank pin 22, is fixed to an end of the crank pin 22 close to a large end of a connecting rod 18. To surely fix this counter weight 22, a stepped part 23 of small outer diameter is formed on an upper end of the crank pin 22, and the counter weight is press fitted and fixed to this stepped part 23.

CONSTITUTION: In a reciprocating type electric compressor, following the rotation of the rotor 12 of an electric motor part, a piston 7 is reciprocated in a cylinder 8 via a connecting rod 6 connected to the crank part 4a of a shaft 4 and a coolant gas in a compressing chamber 9 is compressed and discharged through an outlet pipe. During this time, lubricating oil 14 is sucked up and supplied to each sliding part of the bearing 5, connecting rod 6, piston 7 and cylinder 8, etc., of a compressing mechanism part 2 by means of a pumping action generated by the rotation of a supplying pipe 10 fixed to the lower end of the shaft 4. In this case, an annular groove 5b communicated to a slit 5a also provided in the bearing 5 is provided in the sliding surface of the bearing 5. Thus, the lubricating oil 14 is sufficiently supplied to the full sliding surface of the bearing 5 and lubricity is increased in this part.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of radiating efficiency of a condenser, by press-fitting a delivery/suction pipe into a high-pressure side inlet port so that the lubricating oil, which is attaching to and runs down on the surface of a side plate, is prevented from being induced by high-temperature and high- pressure gas flow to mix into a refrigerant circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a compressor 1 runs, high-temperature, high-pressure gas in a closed vessel 2 is delivered into a condenser 31 and an evaporator which form a refrigerant circuit, from an inlet port 23 and an outlet port 25 on the high pressure side in addition to a discharge pipe 24. At this time, mist of lubricating oil 32 contained in the gas attaches on the surface 6a of a side plate 6 and runs down to around the inlet port 23 on the high pressure side and then runs into the delivery pipe 24. As a result, the lubricating oil 32 is mixed into a liquid refrigerant, thereby lowering radiating efficiency of the condenser 31. To cope with this, a delivery/suction pipe 33 is press-fitted into the high pressure side inlet port 23, which is provided onto the side plate 6. With this contrivance, the inlet port is prevented from being situated on the surface 6a of the side plate 6, and consequently the lubricating oil 32 is prevented from flowing into the refrigerant circuit.

If a delivery valve 17, in a compression stroke, delivers gas containing oil to be released in the delivery muffler chamber 19, the oil begins separating from the has because its fow speed decreases. The separated oil from the gas, adhering to a side surface of the hole 11 provided in the axial center of the shaft 9, is supplied to each sliding surface through the communication holes 12 by centrifugal force of the shaft 9 when it rotates. Accordignly, a compressor, eliminating the necessity for a convertional oil pump or the like and enabling the end of oil supply to be attained while a number of constitutional part items to be substantially reduced, can save energy.

SOLUTION: This is to lessen rubbing vibration occurring between a boss 10 and a coil spring 5 by means of an inexpensive method by applying a friction reducing coating 11 such as a molybdenum disulfide on the boss 10 or the coil spring 5. An electric compression element can be maintained horizontally even if the coil springs 5 on a piston 2 side and an anti-piston side 2 are of an identical specifications by forming a press-formed step 12 on a support.
