Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise of a small-size compressor by making a bottom face of a sealed vessel spherical and increasing rigidity of the bottom face without changing the size of the compressor. SOLUTION: The entire bottom face of the sealed vessel is made spherical, and only snub bar mounting parts on the side wall are circularly extruded in a vertical direction to project, so that the entire bottom face can be made spherical with the overall height of the sealed vessel remaining unchanged, thus increasing the rigidity of the bottom face. Consequently, the noise is reduced.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the abrasion of a coil spring and the inner surface of an oil feed pipe at a low cost and improve reliability by applying lubricating plating to the surface of a coil spring fixed to one end of a shaft by a nickel- phosphor-polytetrafluoroethylene processing method. SOLUTION: During operation of a rotary compressor, when an electric current is carried to a motor M, the rotation of a rotor 3 is transmitted to a shaft 9, and the rotation of the shaft 9 simultaneously rotates a coil spring 19 in an oil pipe 18 as an oil feed pipe, and oil 4 is raised by lead of the coil spring 19 to be supplied to side housings 7, 6 and a roller 12 by an oil groove 10 of the shaft 9. In this case, lubricating plating is applied to the surface of the coil spring 19 by a nickel-phoshor-polyterafluoroethylene processing method. After the plating process, further heat treatment is made at about 350 deg.C to heighten the hardness of the plating layer to Hv 600 at maximum as to reduce the abrasion of the coil spring 19.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed vessel type compressor which is silent, trouble free and easy to manufacture. SOLUTION: An electric motor element 3, a supporting frame 5 and a compressive element 6 are built-in in a closed vessel 2. The electric motor element 3 is an electric motor composed of a stator 15 and a rotor 16. The stator 15 is employed with a winding of a salient pole concentrated winding type and the winding does not protrude from beneath an annular iron core 70. A lower end of the electric motor element 3 is approximately as high as an upper end of a suspended spring, and moderate spacing is present between the lower end of the electric motor element 3 and a bottom of the closed vessel 2. A lower end of a crankshaft 20 is above an oil level 98 and the lower end of the crankshaft 20 is not submerged in lubricating oil 60. Therefore the lubricating oil 60 is not mixed with a step part 33 even if the crankshaft revolves and a mixing noise of the lubricating 60 is small.

Thereby, if lubricating oil is little on the vane tip in starting of the compressor, sufficient lubricating oil can be always supplied to the sliding parts of the vane and the roller.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent condensation abrasion and prevent the contact and heating between a wane and a roller by forming the vane with a ferrous material having a CrN coating layer formed by the PVD method on the surface, forming the roller with Mo-Ni-Cr cast iron, and adding tricresyl phosphate to oil. SOLUTION: This compressor uses a vane 19 having a CrN coating layer on the surface and a roller 11 made of Mo-Ni-Cr cast iron, thereby condensation abrasion can be prevented, and abrasion is reduced due to the hardness of a fixed value or above. When the compressor is started, tricresyl phosphate is collected at the portion with the highest temperature such as between the wane 19 and roller 11 of the compressor and between a shaft 9 and a main bearing 6 to generate acidic phosphate, it is reacted with the iron surface to generate an extreme-pressure film of iron phosphate, and the contact between sliding members is mitigated. The friction coefficient is reduced, heating is decreased, and abrasion progress can be prevented.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent heating of an intake pipe so as to improve efficiency by arranging a stainless socket made of a material having a low thermal conductivity between an closed casing and the intake pipe. SOLUTION: A compressing element and a electrically driven element for driving the compressing element are arranged in a closed casing 1, a socket made of a material having a small thermal conductivity is arranged between the closed casing 1 and an intake pipe 10 for sucking a refrigerant, and an intake pipe 10 is fixed thereby. The closed casing 1 is heated by means of heating at the time of compressing, heating of a stator, and the like. The heat transmission from the closed casing 1 to the intake pipe 10 is thus reduced, and a heating degree of the intake pipe 10 is reduced. It is thus possible to prevent the refrigerant from heating by the intake pipe 10 so as to improve efficiency.
