Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support techniques for operating repeaters based on sub-band power measurements. According to some aspects, sub-band-based power measurements may also allow a repeater to acquire other side information, e.g., time division duplex (TDD) downlink/uplink information or beam configuration information, more accurately. In aspects, a repeater determines one or more sub-band received-signal powers associated with one or more sub-bands of a bandwidth available for wireless communication, amplifies one or more signals received within at least one of the one or more sub-bands, and transmits the amplified one or more signals to at least one of a user equipment (UE) or a base station.

Abstract: Various embodiments include methods for managing uplink timing advance configuration of wireless devices by a base station. A wireless device may send an initial access signal to a base station, receive from the base station an initial timing advance value responsive to the initial access signal, and send to the base station a next signal comprising a Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) waveform via uplink (UL) receive (Rx) points over two or more beams. The base station may receive the next signal including the PRACH waveform via the two or more UL Rx points, select a refined timing advance value based on the signal, and send the refined timing advance value to the wireless device. The wireless device may receive the refined timing advance value and send a further signal to the base station via one of the UL Rx points using the refined timing advance.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station (BS) in a first fixed frame period (FFP), downlink communication information (DCI), where the DCI indicates a scheduled DL communication in a second FFP subsequent to the first FFP. The method also includes monitoring for a downlink (DL) signal in the second FFP. The method also includes transmitting, based on the monitoring for the DL signal, an acknowledgement/non-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) indicating whether the scheduled DL communication was detected.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some wireless communications systems, a base station may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), an indication of a dynamic switch between slot formats. The base station and the UE may communicate first data in one or more first slots according to a first slot format. The first slot format may be a first cyclic prefix-based or guard interval-based slot format. The base station may transmit control signaling to the UE to indicate a second slot format different from the first slot format. The second slot format may be a second cyclic prefix-based or guard interval-based slot format. The UE and the base station may switch to communicating second data in one or more second slots in accordance with the second slot format based on the control signaling.

The method generally includes receiving, from a network entity, a downlink control information (DCI) allocating resources in an unlicensed frequency band for multiple physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmissions to at least one receiver UE across transmission time intervals (TTIs), performing a listen-before-talk (LET) channel access procedure in the TTIs, and transmitting at least one LET report to the network entity on a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource that occurs before another PUCCH resource used for transmitting acknowledgment feedback for the PSSCH transmissions.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, an originator UE transmits a sidelink beam training (BT) reference signal (BTRS) a first number of times on each of a first set of beams, and a sidelink discovery message a second number of times on each of a second set of beams, wherein each beam from the second set of beams is associated with at least one beam from the first set of beams (e.g., 1:1 or N:1 mapping of first set of beams to second set of beams). At least one responder UE responds by transmitting, after the transmission of the sidelink BTRSs and the sidelink discovery messages, a BT response signal and a sidelink discovery response message on a beam corresponding to one of the first set of beams.

The apparatus determines a transmission time of a signal comprising a sequence of a plurality of PDCCHs to a target node. At least one relay is between the base station and the target node. The apparatus transmits, to each of the at least one relay, a relay configuration comprising scheduling information for each of the at least one relay to relay the signal. The scheduling information is based on a determination of the transmission time of the signal to the target node.
