    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a full‑duplexing rule that indicates to refrain from using a transmission dropping rule for transmission direction conflicts that occur between uplink and downlink transmissions in a same symbol. The UE may receive a control message scheduling transmission of a message during a symbol, where a transmission direction conflict arises between a first transmission direction of the message and a second transmission direction of the symbol. For example, the UE may identify a transmission direction conflict between an uplink transmission direction of the message and a downlink transmission direction of the symbol. The UE may communicate the message during the symbol based on the full‑duplexing rule. The described techniques may enable the UE to attain reduced latency and higher throughput based on reducing a number of transmissions dropped by the UE.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support relaxed sensing for new radio (NR) sidelink over millimeter wave (mmW) operating frequencies. In a first aspect, a method by a user equipment (UE) of wireless communication includes identifying a resource selection trigger that indicates selection of one or more sidelink slots from a resource selection window. The UE may obtain long-term interference sensing statistics observed by the UE prior to the resource selection trigger. The UE can reduce a default sensing window length in accordance with the long-term interference sensing statistics and transmit a sidelink transmission in the selected sidelink slots. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for communicating and scheduling communications over sidelink. Certain aspects of the disclosure relate to a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). In some examples, the method includes transmitting, to one or more other UEs, first control information comprising an indicator of a starting time and a duration of a first time interval for communication of a first data transmission over a sidelink, wherein the first time interval comprises one or more time periods of a first time window. In some examples, the method includes transmitting the first data transmission to at least one of the one or more other UEs during the first time interval.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a base station may transmit first control signaling to a first set of user equipments (UEs) which identifies a first common configuration information element indicating a first slot format pattern for use by the first set of UEs. The base station may also transmit second control signaling to a second set of UEs which identifies a second common configuration information element indicating a second slot format pattern for the second set of UEs. The first information element and the second information element may be the same or different based on full-duplexing or half-duplexing capabilities of the UEs. In some other cases, the base station may identify a grouping configuration for assigning respective UEs to first or second UE groups which are either associated with uplink or downlink communications with the full-duplex base station.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may receive control signaling indicating multiple sidelink channels of a sidelink resource pool, a mapping between each sidelink channel of the multiple sidelink channels to a corresponding feedback channel of multiple feedback channels, and a time gap between sidelink channel transmission and feedback transmission with respect to a feedback channel sub-slot of multiple feedback channel sub-slots within a slot. Accordingly, the first wireless device may receive a sidelink data message on a first sidelink channel of the multiple sidelink channels and may transmit sidelink feedback information for the sidelink data message in the feedback channel sub-slot of the slot on a first feedback channel of the multiple feedback channels corresponding to the first sidelink channel. The described techniques may enable the first wireless device to transmit the sidelink feedback information with reduced latency and improved reliability.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine an amount of time between uplink allocations that is needed for performing frequency retuning during operation at a subcarrier spacing (SCS). The UE may perform frequency retuning in association with hopping from a first set of frequency resources, associated with transmitting a first uplink transmission, to a second set of frequency resources, associated with transmitting a second uplink transmission, during operation at the SCS, wherein the frequency retuning is performed during a set of consecutive unallocated resources determined based at least in part on the amount of time between uplink allocations that is needed for performing frequency retuning.
