Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select and voice one part of a text document displayed on a screen. SOLUTION: When a reading mode is started (S10), a first leading tag is retrieved from a displayed HTML(hyper text mark-up language) document (S11), and whether or not the leading tag is a voicing tag whose element should be voiced is judged (S12). When it is judged that the leading tag is not the voicing tag, the similar judgment of the next leading tag is operated. When it is judged that the retrieved leading tag is the voicing tag, the corresponding ending tag is retrieved, and a text being an element indicated by the tag is specified (S13). The display color of the specified text is changed and specified (S14). When a key operation for deciding a range to be voiced is operated, voice synthesis is operated based on the specified text, and the text is voiced (S15). The range to be voiced is specified for each element so that the range to be voiced can be easily selected.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure security without changing hardware on the transmitting and receiving sides by generating second identification information intrinsic to the receiving side to be replaced with first identification information inherent to the receiving side, transmitting the second identification information to a transmitting means via a second transmission line together with a transfer request and extracting only data corresponding to the second identification information of each received data at a terminal means. SOLUTION: A ground channel 4 and the Internet are applied as the second transmission line to connect a client personal computer 3 with a service provider. In this case, an IEEE 1394 interface 24 is provided in a reception port connected with the client personal computer 3 in a receiver. An inherent node unique ID for terminal identification which is allocated to the IEEE 1394 interface when utilization of the Internet service is started is transmitted to the service provider on the transmitting side via the ground channel 4 and the Internet successively.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a rotation detection means by providing a drive ring selectively driving a pair of reel bases by an oscillating action or its drive source rotation detection means and permitting the rotation detection means to detect the rotation of the two reel bases. CONSTITUTION:The reel base 11 at the supply side and the reel base 12 at the winding side are equipped with gears on their outer peripheral sides, and selectively driven by an oscillating gear 13 disposed between said gears. The gear 13 is turnably supported on the tip part of a switching lever 14 through a supporting spindle 15, and provided with a part to be detected 22 in a stripped pattern which is blacked at a fixed pitch in the circumference direction. The part to be detected 22 is detected by a photodiode. According to the rotating direction of the motor, the lever 14 is turned. If the motor is normally rotated, the gear 13 engaged with the gear formed on the outer periphery of the reel base 11. If the motor is reversely rotated, the gear 13 engages with the gear formed on the outer periphery of the reel base 12. Thus only single detection means can detect the rotations of two reel bases.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To lock without fail and to release with a small force by energizing and engaging, with a spring, a locking plate and a locking auxiliary plate to an arm energized so as to return the cassette holder to an ejecting position.
CONSTITUTION: Long holes 2 and 3 are installed at a chassis 1, a cassette holder 5 is guided to the long hole 3 and shifted upward and down ward. A pair of arms 6 is fitted to a rotating shaft 8 fitted between chassises 1 and 1, and a roller 7 fitted to the arm 6 is fitted to the long hole 2. A spring 9 is energized so as to return a holder 5 to an ejecting position. A connecting part 11 to engage to the roller 7 is installed at one side piece of a locking plate 10 and a connecting part 12 is installed at other piece. A spring 13 is energized so as to engage the connecting part 11 to the roller 7. At a locking auxiliary plate 14, an engaging part 15 is installed and energized by a spring 16 so as to come into contact with the connecting part 12. A L-shaped locking releasing plate 17 has an engaging part 18 to engage with the engaging part 15. Thus, the locking can be executed without fail and the releasing can be executed by a small force.
