    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing apparatus which has a cassette loading device realizing an easy ejection of a cassette by rendering a cassette holding length longer upon the cassette ejection even for a small cassette having a short depth. SOLUTION: In this device, a cassette inserted from a cassette inserting slot is moved to a loading position for recording/reproducing operations and an eject position for an ejecting operation while being accommodated into a cassette holder 20 which concurrently moves with a movement of driving sliders 5 and 6. In this case, a cassette pushing arm 50 is provided at an upper frame 7 of the driving sliders 5 and 6. When the cassette is moved at the eject position, the cassette is pushed out of the cassette holder 20 by a reverse operation of the cassette pushing arm 50 and a spring force of an toggle spring 53 as an assisting force. Thus, an ejecting amount of the cassette is rendered large with respect to the cassette inserting slot, thereby realizing an easy ejection of the cassette.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the manufacture of a magnet by making a magnet for electrically detecting the rotational amount of a tension regulator arm to be an integral type of N/S bipolar magnetization. SOLUTION: A magnet 51 constituting a rotational amount detecting means fixed to a tension regulator arm 40 is composed of a flat block-like member, and pole projections 55a and 55b are formed by a long groove 53 provided in its lower surface. An N pole is magnetized in one pole projection 55a, and an S pole is magnetized in the other pole projection 55b. Thus, by integrally forming the magnet 51 of N/S bipolar magnetization in one magnetic material, the magnet 51 is simply manufactured at low costs to obtain an economical and highly productive tape recording/reproducing device. Preferably, the magnet 51 is fixed to a height adjusting member 41 loaded in the tension regulator arm 40.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording and reproducing apparatus such as VCR apparatus which can detect insertion of tape cassette and judge a kind of tape cassette and erroneous insertion thereof with one cassette detecting mechanism provided at the cassette holder inlet side. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a cassette insertion detecting member which is rotatable to the inlet side of the cassette holder 7 and a cassette insertion detection switch 5 provided near the cassette insertion detecting member. Here, when a cassette is inserted into the cassette holder 7, the cassette insertion detecting member which is in contact with the cassette rotates, causing the cassette insertion detection switch 51 to turn ON. A kind of cassette and normal insertion of cassette are judged by judging the operation time while the cassette insertion detection switch 51 is operated. When judgment result is irregular, the cassette is ejected.

SOLUTION: 1st and 2nd turning arms 104, 110 are provided on the cassette holder 90, and a tension spring 114 is stretched between these turning arms 104, 110. Each turning arm 104, 110 is integrally energized for turning in accordance with the difference in angular moments received from the tension spring 114, thereby the roller 108 is brought into press-contact with the cassette on the cassette holder 90. When the turning arms 104 and 110 is separated from each other, the cassette is press-fixed to the cassette mounting part by the energizing force of the tension spring 114.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To simplify and miniaturize the whole constitution of a pinch roller elevating, lowering and rotating mechanism by supporting a pinch roller by a movable supporting member and elevating, lowering and rotating the movable supporting member by means of driving power transmitted from a driving source. CONSTITUTION: A rotating member 30 is rotated by rotating a driving power transmission member 25, an elevating/lowering member 35 engaged with a cam groove 31 formed on the rotating member 30 is elevated and lowered according to the displacement of the cam groove 31. With this motion, a movable supporting member 22 supporting a pinch roller 11 is elevated and lowered and a rotation transmitting member 40 engaged with a cam groove 27 formed on the driving power transmission member 25 is rotated according to the displacement of the cam groove 27. Then, the elevating/lowering member 35 is rotated about the rotation center of a shaft member 20 while being accompanied by the movable supporting member 22. Consequently, the pinch roller 11 supported by the movable supporting member 22 is located in the position separated from a capstan or in the position in which a moving medium is brought into press-contact with the capstan.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent intrusion of foreign matter into a cam groove, to secure the smooth opening/closing operation of lids and also to improve looking of the appearance reducing the unevenness o# the outer surface of a cassette casing by providing the cam groove on the inner surface of the cassette casing and engaging a guide pin movably with this cam groove. CONSTITUTION:The lid 16 is provided with a front lid 17 for covering the front surface of an information recording tape while being freely turnably supported by the cassette casing 13 and a top lid 18 for covering the upper surface of the information recording tape while being connected to this front lid 17 so as freely to rock. The guide pin 27 is provided on the top lid 18 and engaged with the cam groove 28 which is arranged on the inner surface of the cassette casing 13, to guide the movement of the top lid 18. By this arrangement, the intrusion of foreign matters such as dust, sand, etc., into the cam groove 28 is prevented, thereby, the lid 16 is smoothly opened/closed, and also the uneven part of the cam groove 28 is provided inside the cassette casing 13 to make the outer surface of the cassette casing to the smooth flat surface, then the looking of the appearance are improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a guide mechanism for the drawing-out of a tape which protect the tape from a large tension which is newly applied to the tape by the reaction of a large tension which is applied to the tape first and, further, which facilitate the high speed quick feed or rewind of the tape. CONSTITUTION:A guide arm 51 which is supported by a mechachassis is swung and a tape is drawn out from, a cassette-half by a guide roller 53 which is supported by the swinging end of the guide arm 51 so as to be able to rotate. When the tape is drawn out, a cam gear 55 is turned and a cam lever 59 is swung synchronously with the guide arm 51 by the retaining between the cam trench 57 of the cam gear 55 and a cam follower. When the guide arm 51 is positioned at a loading position where the tape is drawn out, the retainer 5101 of of the guide arm 51 is positioned between the two retaining pins 5901 of the cam lever 59 to limit the swinging range of the guide arm 51 at the loading position.
