Abstract:
Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a dryer that performs an ice removal operation. To this end, provided are: a drum configured to receive a drying item, at least one first sensor configured to detect a presence of the drying item in the drum, a pump chamber configured to store condensate, a drain pump configured to discharge the condensate from the pump chamber, and a controller configured to, when detecting the drying item in the drum based on a signal of the at least one first sensor, limit a number of forced drains of the drain pump to reduce a water level of the pump chamber.
Abstract:
A motion assistance apparatus according to an embodiment may comprise: a waist plate positioned on a rear surface of a user's waist; a base frame extending from opposite ends of the waist plate and capable of accommodating a user's lumbar part therein; a main belt mounted on the base frame and capable of surrounding a user's abdomen; and a main band which is connected to the main belt and may be brought into elastic close contact with the user's lumbar part.
Abstract:
A motion assistance apparatus includes a waist frame configured to support a waist of a user, and a proximal support configured to support a proximal part of the user. A pressure applied to a thigh of the user by the proximal support in a sitting state in which the user is sitting may be greater than a pressure applied to the thigh of the user by the proximal support in a standing state in which the user is standing upright.
Abstract:
A force transmitting frame may have a length greater than a width. Stiffnesses of first and second end portions of the force transmitting frame may be greater than a stiffness of a central area of the force transmitting frame in a longitudinal direction of the force transmitting frame. The force transmitting frame may include: an inner frame configured to support one side of a user; and/or an outer frame of which first and second end portions are fixed to first and second end portions of the inner frame, and of which a central portion is not fixed to a central portion of the inner frame. The central portion of the outer frame may be configured to slide with respect to the central portion of the inner frame.
