    Abstract: BUTANOL MANUFACTURING METHODHighly pure butanol can be produced by a method for producing butanol, the method comprising: Step A, wherein a butanol-containing solution is filtered through a nanofiltration membrane and a butanol-containing solution is recovered from the permeate side; Step B, wherein the butanol-containing solution obtained in Step A is passed through a reverse osmosis membrane and thereby concentrated to cause two IC phase separation into a butanol phase and an aqueous phase; and Step C, wherein butanol is recovered from the butanol phase obtained in Step B.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing lactate, the method comprising a step of crystallizing an aqueous lactate solution containing formate in a ratio of at least 7.0 wt% relative to the lactate, and recovering the lactate. Crystallizing the aqueous lactate solution containing formate in a ratio of at least 7.0 wt% relative to the lactate makes it possible to stabilize the supersaturation of the lactate, and makes it possible to improve the recovery rate of the lactate.

    Abstract: High purity butanol can be manufactured by means of the disclosed butanol manufacturing method which comprises: a manufacturing step (A) wherein a butanol-containing solution is filtered by being passed through a nano-filtration membrane, and the butanol-containing solution is collected from the permeation side; a manufacturing step (B) wherein the butanol-containing solution obtained in step (A) is concentrated by being passed through a reverse osmosis membrane, and separated into two phases, namely a butanol phase and a water phase; and a manufacturing step (C) wherein butanol is collected from the butanol phase obtained in step (B).

The method for producing 3-oxoadipic acid comprises a step for culturing at least one microorganism which has 3-oxoadipic acid producing capability and is selected from the group consisting of the following species of microorganisms: Serratia, Corynebacterium, Hafnia, Bacillus, Escherichia, Pseudomonas, Acinetobacter, Alcaligenes, Shimwellia, Planomicrobium, Nocardioides, Yarrowia, Cupriavidus, Rhodosporidium, Streptomyces, and Microbacterium.
