Abstract: PURPOSE:To prolong the life of filter cloth, by preventing the damage of the filter cloth by the edge of a filter cloth guide roll or the side wall of a vacuum suction port. CONSTITUTION:The end parts of a filter cloth guide roll 11, which are respectively opposed to the left side frame 20 and right side frame 21 which are respectively positioned in the side and right sides with respect to the running and peripheral direction of filter cloth, of a temporarily constructed frame 12 are covered with filter cloth guide sheets 14, 15 hardly damaging the filter cloth or the above mentioned roll 11 and strong to abrasion. As a result, the damage of the filter cloth by the side wall of a vacuum suction port 10 or the end parts of the filter cloth guide roll 11 can be prevented and the life of the filter cloth can be prolonged.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To recover efficiently unfiltered components, to simplify the structure of the apparatus, and to reduce the cost by providing a liquid nozzle for recovering the unfiltered components on the downstream side of an original liquid supply part oppositely to a filter cloth. CONSTITUTION:The original liquid contg. solid and liquid components is supplied over a filter cloth 1 from an original liquid supply tank 6. The greater part of the liquid component in the supplied original liquid is passed through the filter cloth 1 by gravity or a decompressing action given by a filtrate receiving tank 7, and collected in the filtrate receiving tank 7. The liquid component collected in the filtrate receiving tank 7 is discharged to the outside of the filter from a discharge port 17 of a seal pot 11. The so-called unfiltered component which does not pass through the filter cloth 1 is recovered from the surface of the filter cloth 1 by spouting the semifluid unfiltered component in a solid component receiving tank 10 from a recovery nozzle 8, and collected in the solid component receiving tank 10. The filter cloth 1 is passed through the positions of a drain roll 9 and a washing nozzle 14, and used again for the filtration.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retardation measurement apparatus which can measure a wide measurement range at high speed, a double refraction measurement apparatus utilizing the same, and a film production method utilizing the double refraction measurement apparatus. SOLUTION: The retardation measurement apparatus comprises a light source part 2 for coaxially projecting two or more lights of different wavelengths, a continuous phase difference polarization generation part 3 for generating a continuous phase difference polarization light from the lights projected from the light source part, a polarization measurement part 4 for sending the polarization light from the continuous phase difference polarization generation part 3 perpendicularly to a measurement sample 7 and measuring a polarization state of the light passing the sample 7 for every wavelength, a comparison signal generation part 5 for generating a phase difference change comparison signal of the polarization light of the continuous phase difference polarization generation part 3 for every wavelength, a phase difference detection part 6 for measuring a relative phase change of an output signal of the comparison signal generation part 5 and an output signal of the polarization measurement part 4, an operation part 8 for operating a retardation of the measurement sample 7 from a phase difference signal of the phase difference detection part 6, and an output part 9. The double refraction measurement apparatus is obtained by combining the retardation measurement apparatus with a thickness gage 120. The production method for films utilizes the double refraction measurement apparatus.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to accurately inspect both sides of a TAB tape for defects with one inspection stage and perform stable identifying operation with high accuracy by using color images comprising blue color images and/or green color images as processing images. SOLUTION: A first image capture means 101 and a second image capture means 102 use blue and blue images, blue and green images and green and blue images. When a first color image and a second color image are in blue and blue, the illumination light from a second illuminating means 202 is not detected by the first image capture means 101 because the tape base material is opaque to blue light. Therefore, the images of the front and back of a tape are not influenced by the illumination on the opposite side, which allows defects in resin areas and copper pattern area and defects due to sticking foreign matters to be detected. It is also possible to detect defects in resin areas and sticking resin on the back of the tape.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect the impermeable defect in a hollow fiber module simply with the accuracy. CONSTITUTION:A supporting device 1 supports a hollow fiber module. A ring-shaped light emitting part 202A is arranged on the approximately same axis as the module at a position, which is separated from the edge of the hollow fiber module by a specified distance, and has the outer diameter larger than the outer diameter of the module. A first light measuring device 3A measures the amount of light for every subdivided region of the edge of the above described hollow fiber module at a position facing the edge of the hollow fiber module, into which the positive reflected light of the light emitted from the above described light emitting part 202A at the above described edge is not cast. A binary coding part 403 adds an arbitrary offset amount to the measured light amount at an arbitrary one selected point of the edge of the hollow yarn module or the average measured light amount at two or more selected points, operates the threshold value and binary-codes the measured light amount at the edge based on the threhold value. A operation judging part 502 compares the total area on one side, which is fractionized by the binary coding with a reference value, and discriminates whether the hollow fiber module is good product or not. These parts are provided.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect a failure resulting from the separation of a container and a resin layer in a hollow fiber module uniformly with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:A slit-like light is irradiated by a light radiating device 2 to a minute area of an interface K between a container A and a resin layer C1. A reflecting light reflected at a separated part in the minute area is measured by a light amount measuring device 3. A separation signal corresponding to the separated area is formed by a separation signal forming part 4 on the basis of the measuring result at the device 3. Whether the hollow fiber module is good or bad is detected in a detecting device 5 based on a plurality of separation signals related to the minute area. In this manner, the separating state between the container A and the resin layer C1 is quantitatively detected by an optical means, whereby the failure resulting from the separation can be automatically and positively detected without irregularities.
