Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate mixing of a pollutant, and improve a polishing speed by carrying child particles on a surface of a mother particle. SOLUTION: One or more kinds of child particles are carried on a surface of a mother particle. The average particle size of the mother particle is desirably in a range of about 0.3 to 30 μm, and more desirably in a range of about 0.2 to 5 μm. The average particle size of the child particles is desirably in a range of about 0.001 to 5 μm, and more desirably in a range of about 0.002 to 0.5 μm. A quantity of child particles carried on the surface of the mother particle is desirably in about 5 to 70 wt.%, and more desirably in a range of about 10 to 40 wt.%. When a slurry-like abrasive is adjusted by using such as composite particle, the composite particle is desirably included by about 0.5 to 30 wt.%, and more desirably in a range of about 1 to 10 wt.% to the whole abrasive quantity. When this abrasive is used, a pollutant is not mixed, and a polishing speed is improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a damage of a feeder in the early stage by forming a metal membrane layer wider than the width of an electrode at the peripheral surface of the feeder. CONSTITUTION:Feeders 12 and 12 are provided at both ends of a rodform ceramic heater element 10, and at the peripheral surface of each feeder 12, a metal membrane layer 13 wider than the width of an electrode 14 is formed, and the electrode 14 is installed at the peripheral surface of each metal membrane layer 13. Consequently, the current is fed from a power source through one side lead wire 15, electrode 14, and metal membrane layer 13 to a heating part 11, it heats there, and after that, returns to the power source through the other side metal membrane layer 13, electrode 14, and lead wire 15. As a result, the heating temperature of the feeders can be suppressed at a low value.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a partially stabilized zirconia sintered compact useful as a member for a use requiring high strength, high toughness and abrasion resistance by using a sinter containing zirconia as a raw materials, preparing heat treated zirconia powder and sintering the treated zirconia powder to recycle the sinter containing the zirconia. SOLUTION: A raw material of sinter containing zirconia preferably including 1.5-5mol% yttria as a stabilizer is heat treated, preferably in pure water at 150-500 deg.C for 5-200hr, more preferably at 200-280 deg.C for 10-150hr to peptize the sinter containing the zirconia and to provide zirconia powder (sol), 50% of which is preferably a single crystal, preferably having

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle the apprehension regarding the influence of flying an organic solvent to exhaust facilities and human bodies by a method wherein a crosslinkable water-soluble binder is employed. SOLUTION: As the crosslinkable water-soluble binder used for the slip casting of ceramic, a binder, which crosslinks ceramic casting slip through crosslinking reaction to a hardness enough high and substantially has a water solubility, is employed. The preferable solubility (= the weight of solute/the weight of a solution) is about 10%. The preferable binder is a mixture of a crosslinkable component and a crosslinker. As the crosslinkable component, a water-soluble epoxy-based resin such as glycidyl ether or the like is exampled. As the crosslinker, an amine-based compound is exampled. By employing a binder mainly made of a crosslinked body including the water-soluble epoxy- based resin and the amine-based compound, there is no apprehension regarding the exhaustion of an organic solvent and the influence to human bodies and a formation, in which no crack or the like develops even after the hardening through reaction and after the baking of a ceramic formed body.
