Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily measure surface characteristics with high accuracy by placing plural samples on a metallic measurement table, supplying static charges from an electrode positioned above the center part, and measuring the advance speed of the contacting of the samples with the surface of the measurement table. CONSTITUTION:The metallic measurement table 1 is grounded by an earth line 3 through a metallic base 2. A mark 4 is given on the smooth surface 1a of the measurement table 1 at constant distance from its center point. Plural film samples 5 are mounted on the surface 1a of the measurement table 1. The electrode 6 provided above the center part of the samples 5 is composed of a stylus electrode. A DC voltage of several kV is applied from a DC high voltage power source 9 to the electrode 6 to supply static charges 10 to the samples 5. If the samples 5 are charged electrostatically, the samples 6 come into contact with one another with electrostatic attractive force and the lower sample 5 contacts the surface 1a of the measurement table 1. The time required for the contacting to reach the position of the mark 4 is measured to measure the contacting advance speed accurately with high accuracy.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stretched film with uniform physical properties by suppressing fluctuation of temp. just before stretching and suppressing fluctuation of stretching when a resin film is to be stretched in the width direction. SOLUTION: In a method and an apparatus for preparing a stretched film having a process for stretching in the width direction after a film is preheated, temp. in the width direction of a film is measured after preheating process and before stretching process, and the information is fed back to the preheating process while temp. distribution in the width direction of a film before stretching process is controlled within a definite range and the film is stretched, is provided.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stable obtain a film, the contamination with a foreign matter of which is suppressed, by a method wherein a smooth surface is realized by providing a thin film chromium layer having a coat made of a spinal type oxidized hydrate of chromium and a rigid film layer on the running surface opposite to the front surface of a travelling supporting body. SOLUTION: A thin film chromium layer 8 having a coat and a rigid film layer is provided on a running surface 3b opposite to the front surface 3a of a supporting body 3 consisting of a circulating endless belt. In this case, first of all the stainless steel composition the supporting body is immersed in a mixed solution of chromic acid and sulfuric acid so as to grown the dissolved metal ion and chromium ion through hydrolysis in order to produce a porous coat made of a spinal type oxidized hydrate having high chromium component. Further, by electrolyzing the stainless steel as the cathode in the solution prepared by adding sulfuric acid or phosphoric acid to chromic acid under low current density, the rigid film layer is produced. Since the rigid film layer buries the pores of the thin film chromium layer, the tin film chromium layer is equipped with both surface, which is harder than hard chrome plating, and corrosion resistance.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the productivity by improving film manufacturing properties or particularly castability while holding necessary aroma retentivity in a polyester film for molding to laminate a metal. SOLUTION: This polyester laminated film comprises at least a layer B and a layer A for constituting one surface layer. The layer B is formed of a copolymer polyester. The layer A is formed of polyethylene terephthalate or a polyethylene terephthalate copolymer having the ratio M/P of the number of moles M of a metal compound to the number of moles P of a phosphorus compound of the range of 1.5 to 3, and the thickness of the layer A is in the range of 1/100 to 30/100 of the entire thickness of the film.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the anti-scratching property and shaving resistance by permitting the particle diameter, content, laminate thickness of particles in a laminated part and the like to be in a specific range, and besides, strengthening the anisotropy of orientation in the part. CONSTITUTION:The film has a film layer A of 0.01-3 mum in thickness consisting mainly of thermoplastic resin A and particles at least in one surface of a film layer B consisting mainly of thermoplastic resin B. And, the average particle diameter of particles contained in the film layer A is 0.1-10 times of the thickness of the film layer A, and the content of the particles is 2-30 wt.% with respect to the film layer A. Furthermore, the film layer A is of a type of uniaxial orientation, and orients to both longitudinal direction and lateral direction, and the difference of the refractive index between the longitudinal direction and lateral direction is 0.025 or more. And, the film layer B is of a type of biaxial orientation. Beside, the film layer A is contained only in one surface of the film layer B, and in the other surface, a biaxially oriented film layer C is formed, as required, which has a thickness of 0.01-3 mum and consists mainly of thermoplastic resin C and particles.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To derive the defect position of a sheet-like object to be inspected by executing the integration of a clock pulse until a defect signal appears in a photodetecting part after an output appears in a photosensor. CONSTITUTION:A light beam directed and scanned by a projection part P is allowed to transmit through or reflected by a sheet-like object 1 to be inspected, and photodetected by a photodetecting part 9. In this case, a photosensor 8 detects an origin position of scanning of the light beam. In this state, when a defect exists, an output caused by the defect appears in the photodetecting part 9. Therefore, a detector 10 integrates a clock pulse from a clock pulse generator generated before the output caused by the defect appears from the origin of scanning in which the output appears in the photosensor 8, by a pulse counter. This integrating value is related to a distance from a scanning start point of the light beam, and by calculating this distance by a computing element, a position of the defect can be known.
