    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a composition suitable as parts for cooling systems in automotive bonnets due to its excellence in antifreeze resistance, durability and strength by blending a polyamide resin with glass fiber, having a specific diameter and treated with a specified surface treating agent. CONSTITUTION:The composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. polyamide resin containing hexamethylene adipamide as a principal unit (preferably nylon 66) with (B) 25-100 pts.wt. glass fiber, having 6-11mumphi average fiber diameter and prepared by treating the surface thereof with a surface treating agent containing maleic anhydride and/or its residue (e.g. a diammonium salt of the maleic anhydride). Furthermore, staple fiber is preferably used as the component (B). The pickup of the surface treating agent by the glass fiber is preferably 0.3-1.2wt.%.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a bonded structure which does not decrease in its bonding strength even under highly dry conditions and can exhibit sufficient heat resistance and sustained bonding strength even under high-humidity conditions by bonding metallic materials with a specified polyamide adhesive through an epoxy-phenol resin primer. CONSTITUTION:A process for obtaining a bonded structure by bonding metallic materials with a polyamide adhesive, wherein the polyamide adhesive comprises a composition comprising a crystalline polyamide or copolyamide having 6-15 carbon atoms per amide group on the average and a polyetheresteramide comprising a polymer of an omega-amino-carboxylic acid or lactam, a polyalkylene glycol and a dicarboxylic acid in a weight ratio of 97:3-65:35, and the metallic materials are bonded with this composition through an epoxy/phenolic resin primer. In this way, a bonded metallic structure which does not decrease in its bonding strength even under highly dry conditions and can exhibit sufficient heat resistance and sustained bonding strength even under high-humidity conditions can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To add resistance to calcium chloride on the surface of a mold of polyamide 6, 66 and to prevent the generation of cracks, without deteriorating superior properties of polyamide 6, 66, by coating said mold of polyamide 6, 66 with a thin film of ionomer blended modified polyamide 6, 66 of a specific blending ratio. CONSTITUTION:A thin film of 10-750mum thickness formed of a compound of 85-50wt.% of polyamide 6 and/or polyamide 66 and 15-50wt.% of olefinic ionomer resin is coated on a mold made of polyamide 6 and/or polyamide 66. If the thickness of the thin film is less than 10mum, the film cannot be coated all over the surface of the mold. Or, if the thickness of the film exceeds 750mum, the superior heat-proof property and rigidity of the mold is deteriorated. Since the coating film is considerably thin, characteristics of the mold made of polyamide 6 and/or polyamide 66 are not deteriorated, but, the resistance to metal chloride is remarkably improved, without cracks generated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable to discharge a core mold in a short period of time by contriving molding of a precise hollow product, by a method wherein a core made of resin inside of which is filled with substance such as sand or iron dust is inserted into a mold and the skin is molded on an external circumferential part of the core through injection molding. CONSTITUTION:An open part 3a at one side end of a core material 1 is closed with a plug 4a, a powdery filler 2 such as sand or iron dust is pressed in the inside of the core material 1 through an open part 3b at the other side end so as not to leave a gap behind, the end open part 3b is closed with a plug 4b and a core 5 made of resin is formed. Then the core 5 made of the resin is inserted into a cavity of a mold 6 for skin mold surface and the skin 8 based on injection molding is formed by fixing the core 5 by fitting parts 7a, 7b with the mold. As for the resin for the skin 8, thermoplastic resin such as nylon or polyester is appropriate and it is desirable to make the fusion point of the same is higher than that of the core material 1 and to make quality of the same identical with that of the core material. A hollow molded article is obtained by a method wherein cylindrical end parts 9a, 9b of a product material 9 is cut off along flange parts 10, 11 of the skin and the filler 2 in the inside of the core material 1 is pulled out.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To maintain such strength that a through anchor part for seat belt may not fly about by forming a metamorphic block copolymer including polyamide resin and carboxylic acid radical or its derivative, out of thermoplastic resin or resin component which uses polyamide as its subject. CONSTITUTION:This through another part for seat belt is a block copolymer of polyamide resin 90-99weight%, aromatic vinyl polymer, conjugated diene compound and/or olefin compound polymer, and is formed out of a component which consists of modified block copolymer 1-10 weight% where molecule unit including carboxylic acid radical or its derivative is connected by 0.03-30 weight part per block copolymer 100 weight part. The molecule formation unit of the polyamide resin contains aromatic ring, terephthalic acid remaining radical and hexamethylene terephthalamic unit, and the block copolymer part of the metamorphic block copolymer has a styrene butadiene-stylene block structure and so forth in it.
