Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the under-hood parts having excellect metallic chloride resisting property by constituting the under-hood parts by a uniform blank in which a polymer and a reinforcing material are mixed in a mutually compact condition. CONSTITUTION:The under-hood parts are manufactured by molding a compact compond obtained by containing 10-100wt. part reinforcing material to 100wt. part mixture of 50-95wt% polyamide, the number of amide groups thereof per 100 number of carbon atoms is 15-35, and 5-50wt% ethylene group ionomer resin.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polyamide monofilament having high transparency, roundness and strength even in a thick-denier state by melt-spinning a copolymer of epsilon-caprolactam and hexamethylene adipamide together with a multicomponent copolymerized polyamide and a specific bisstearylamide. CONSTITUTION:The polyamide monofilament having high transparency, roundness and strength even in a thick-denier state is produced by melt-spinning (A) 98-80 pts.wt. of a 6/66 copolymerized polyamide produced by copolymerizing 98-70wt.% of epsilon-caprolactam and 2-30wt.% of hexamethylene adipamide, (B) 2-20 pts.wt. of a >=3-component copolymerized polyamide produced by copolymerizing >=3 kinds of polyamide-forming components containing a salt of an alicyclic diamine such as hexahydro-m-xylylenediamine or (p- aminocyclohexyl)methane and a carboxylic acid as essential component and (C) 0.1-1.0 pt.wt. of ethylene-bisstearylamide.

Abstract: PURPOSE:The titled wheel particularly excellent in low-temperature impact resistance, etc., obtained by using a fiber-reinforced resin obtained by mixing a glass fiber having a specified mean diameter with a polyamide 6-based resin as a material for at least a rim part. CONSTITUTION:A fiber-reinforced resin is prepared by mixing 80-40pts.wt. (A) polyamide 6 or polyamide 6-based resin (e.g., a copolymer of polyamide 6 with polyamide 66) with (B) 20-60pts.wt. glass fiber having a mean diameter of 3- 8mu. The resulting fiber-reinforced resin is used as a material for at least a rim part to obtian the purpose fiber-reinforced high-impact polyamide resin wheel. This wheel can be suitably used for automobiles especially in a cold district. It is preferable that the glass fiber used is surface-treated beforehand with a silane coupling agent of good heat stability.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the titled part made of a polyamide, and having high resistance to a metal halide anti-freezing mixture, and excellent ridigity, hot-water resistance and alcohol resistance, by adding an amorphous polyamide containing an aromatic component to an aliphatic polyamide. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is prepared by melting and kneading (A) 25-95wt% aliphatic polyamide (having a relative viscosity of 2.0-5.0) with (B) 5-75wt% amorphous polyamide having aromatic amino acid and/or aromatic dicarboxylic acid as main constituent component (preferably nylon 6I). The resistance of the aliphatic polyamide to metal halides can be improved, and at the same time, the hot-water resistance and the alcohol resistance of the polyamide containing aromatic component are increased.

The other objective glass fiber-reinforced polyamide resin molded product can be obtained by molding the above composition.

CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is prepared by melting and kneading (A) 100pts.wt. of a mixture composed of (a) 25-95pts.wt. of an aliphatic polyamide (having a relative viscosity of 2.0-6.0) and (b) 5-75pts.wt. of an amorphous polyamide containing an aromatic amino acid and/or aromatic dicarboxylic acid as main constituent components (especially nylon 6I having a relative viscosity of preferably 1.5- 3.0) with (B) 5-200pts.wt. of an inorganic reinforcing material (especially a fibrous reinforcing material such as glass fiber, etc.). EFFECT:The resistance of the composition to a halide anti-freezing mixture is comparable to or higher than that of the reinforced nylon 11, etc., and its mechanical characteristics are comparable to or higher than those of reinforced nylon 6, etc.
