Abstract: PURPOSE:To retard the curling of hair even if a pressure is exerted on the surface of the obtained suede product, by supplying cut piles which are dispersed and scattered in air by compressed air, uniformly sprinkling the piles over the surface of a base material in random directions and adhering the piles to the surface. CONSTITUTION:An inlet for the base material 2 and an outlet for the base material are provided to the main device body 4 having a closed space. Piles are supplied by a pile feeder 24 into the main device body 4. The piles are dispersed and scattered in the main device body by the compressed air supplied from supply parts 10 and 11. The compressed air is discharged from the discharge part 13 provided with a filter 12, and surplus piles scattered by compressed air are recirculated to the feeder 24 by pile circulating systems 14 and 15. By this method, the supplied cut piles are dispersed and scattered in air by compressed air, sprinkled over the substrate surface in random directions, and adhered to the surface. As a result, a flocked article having the warmness and softness of the fiber is obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To protect the human body or atmosphere from bad effects by a method in which through the adhesive layer crosslinked by the specified struc ture at the part of a polar residue of the resin containing acrylic or urethane resin as main components, a skin and the polyolefin resin foam of crosslinking type are laminated, whereby the breakage of the adhesive layer does not occur in specified peel strength-test. CONSTITUTION:A polyvinyl chloride resin-sheet is used as a skin and polyolefin resin foam is used as foamed material. And one of the surface to be mutually bonded of the foam and the skin is coated with the aqueous adhesive in which the curing agent of water-dispersed aziridine ring compound is added to the emulsion with active hydrogen, thereby forming an adhesive layer. After the moisture in said adhesive layer has been evaporated and said layer has been baked by a infrared ray-heater, the foam and the skin are heated and pressure- bonded. Further, similarly an adhesive layer is formed on the surface of the foam, and the moisture in the adhesive layer is evaporated and cured. Consequently, the ignition, the environment-contamination and the harmful effect for human body due to organic solvent are removed, and the composite sheet excellent in peel strength may be obtained.

(C) The cut piles obtained by the (A) process, the common cut piles not collected by the collecting agent, or the mixture of both piles are separately or simultaneously electrostatically flocked on the substrate coated with the flock binder of the (B) process. (D) Drying, baking, or ageing are carried out to integrally cure the collecting agent and the flock binder by the chemical reaction. (E) The collecting agent is swollen, and then the collected flocked piles are opened.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the title paint which does not cause coloration of reddish brown to dark red even when brought into contact with iron, containing a basic nitrogen-contg. polymer (acid-neutralized product), a specified curing agent and a chelating agent. The blend is blended with at least 0.1wt%, pref. 0.5-20wt% (per 100pts.wt. nonvolatile matter of the component B) chelating agent (C) (e.g., ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid). If desired, a pigment, an org. solvent, a surfactant, a leveling agent, an ultraviolet absorber, a plasticizer, etc., are added thereto.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain soft flocked article causing no depilation by plating electrostatically cut piles obtd. by cutting fiber tow bonded with a binder comprising a water-soluble resin on a base material coated with a flocky binder, setting to form one body, then splitting thereafter. CONSTITUTION:Fiber tow bonded with a binder comprising a water-soluble resin having a functional group such a COOH group, t-amino group or OH group, etc. is cut to 1-15mm length to obtain cut pile. A flocky binder comprising a mixture of a water-soluble resin having the above described functional groups with a curing agent such as polyvalent glycidyl compd., melamine base curing agent, or isocyanate curing agent, is coated on a base material, and above-described cut pile is planted electrostatically on the base material. The binder and the flocky binder are made to form one body chemically by drying, baking, or aging. The product is then dipped in weakly alkaline or weakly acidic aq. soln. to split the bonded flocky pile. Thus, a flocky article causing no depilation is obtd.
