Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the sufficient effect of smoothing wrinkles by a method in which a running film is put between a pair of disks having their axes inclined mutually at the position of both sides in width direction and expanding force is given to the film by the rotation of said disks. CONSTITUTION:Disks 10 are supported rotatably, and a film 3 is put between the disks 10a, 10b, whereby the disks 10 are rotated by the driving force from the film 3. A pair of the disks 10 have a certain contact range determined by the elasticity of the film 3, the elasticity of the disks and the mutually inclined angle between the disk 10a and the disk 10b. As the circular arcs of the rotating disks are mutually in contact, at a film inserting part 13, the film 3 is gradually begun to be put between said disks smoothly, and after it has been inserted through a short range, it is released smoothly. The film inserting part 13 is kept for a certain time, whereby the wrinkles of the film are fully smoothed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To clean transport rollers having a deflection part or a different diameter part without generating the left breakage or dirty part on the transport rollers. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning device for a transport rollers is equipped with a scraper 33 for removing the attached article adhering on the surface of transport rollers R, shifting device 1 in the longitudinal direction which shifts a rod 13 in the longitudinal direction of the transport rollers R, transport roller copying means equipped with a copying head 32 which is mounted on the rod 13 and shifts, following the displacement of the contact position in the contact state with the transport rollers R, and a spring which is installed integrally with the copying head and allows the scraper 33 to come in springy contact with the surface of the transport rollers R. Accordingly, the cleaning head is kept in the almost fixed position relation for the transport rollers.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent defects caused by a wound portion and improve quality, by providing an elastic seal means between the surface of a winding core and a deposit means corresponding to it. CONSTITUTION:The fine particles of bonding assistant agent uniformly atomized and supplied into a transportation passage 14 are distributed further uniformly in the lengthwise direction of winding cores 3 in a static pressure chamber 11 and provided with a directivity to the surface of the winding cores through ejection ports 15. Then, they directly collide with the surface of the respective winding cores 15 to deposit on it. Since the bonding assistant agent thus adhered to the surface of the winding cores 13 is uniformly distributed and further the width of the adhesion is restricted by a seal member 13, an uniform adhesion over the entire length is obtained. When a prescribed quantity of the bonding assistant agent is applied to a prescribed portion of the winding core 3, a switching arm is actuated to return is switching bar to a waiting position.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a traveling stroke of a pressing member and takeup core axial width so as to be smaller as well as to make a narrow strip sheetlike material windable, by holding a takeup core with pressing force produced by elastic deformation of a ringlike rubber body. CONSTITUTION:An empty takeup core 10 is placed on a core receiver, a core keeper 40 is projected out, positioning it in an axial direction A, and a takeup core chuck 11 is inserted into the takeup core 10. Prior to insertion, a ringlike rubber body 32 receives no pinching pressure of pressing surfaces 16 and 32 and its elastic deformation is released so that there is a clearance between an inner diameter of the takeup core 10 and the rubber body, thus the takeup core chuck is insertable. When air pressure in an air cylinder chamber 26 is removed after the insertion is over, a piston 24 and a pressing member 30 are moved to the side of a driving shaft 17 by dint of energizing force of a spring 27, whereby the ringlike rubber body 32 is held, by pressure between just out onto an inner circumferentail surface of the takeup core 10 with its elastic deformation, thereby holding it. Therefore, a traveling stroke and width of the takeup core 10 both can be made smaller, thus a narrow strip sheetlike material is windable.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily obtain an optimum value of the taking-up tension of each of all the taking-up rolls which corresponds to the condition such as taking-up width, etc. by controlling the taking-up hydraulic pressure of other taking-up rolls on the basis of the taking-up hydraulic pressure of the representative taking-up roll whose taking-up torque or taking-up tension is feedback-controlled. CONSTITUTION:The taking-up torque actually generated on a representative taking-up roll 11a is detected, and said detected value is input into a taking-up tension controller 26 and compared with a set value. An instruction is transmitted from tie taking-up tension controller 26 to an electricity-hydraulic-pressure converter 23 so that the both values coincide, and the taking-up hydraulic pressure (taking-up tension) of the taking-up roll 11a is feedback-controlled. The hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic line 24a is detected by a pressure detector 25a through the feedback-control for the representative taking-up roll 11a. Then, each taking-up hydraulic pressure of other taking- up rolls 11b and 12 is calculated in an aimed hydraulic-value calculator 32 from the detected value and the calculation program on the basis of the conditions such as the taking-up width of the taking-up rolls 11b and 12 having different taking-up width, and each taking-up tension of the taking-up rolls 11b and 12 is controlled to an optimum value.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain the amt. of auxiliary substance to be evaporated constant to stably form a vapor-deposited film of the auxiliary substance on a base material by detecting the pressure of the atmosphere in which the auxiliary substance of metallic substance in a vaporizer in which the vaporization of the auxiliary substance is executed is present and controlling the vaporizing conditions based on the detected information. SOLUTION: In an evacuated vapor deposition treating chamber 1 of a drum type body 2, a base material 10 such as a synthetic resin sheet or the like running along a cooling roll 9 is fed with the vaporized auxiliary substance 14 of auxiliary substance 12 such as oil or the like generated in a vaporizer 11 from an opening part 15 and is vapor deposited to form an oil margin or the like, and after that, the metallic vapor 20 of metal 18 generated in a heater 19 is vapor-deposited to form a metallic thin film. At this time, in the upper space in which the vaporized auxiliary substance 14 is present in the vaporizer 11 is provided a pressure detecting means 16, and the vapor pressure of the auxiliary substance 12 is detected. Based on this detected value and in consideration of the pressure in the vapor deposition treating chamber or the like, the heating means 13 in the vaporizer 11 is controlled by a controller 24, and the temp. of the auxiliary substance by a temp. detecting means 17 is adjusted.

In addition, the material of this scraper 12 consists of zirconia based ceramics.
