Abstract: Yarn package cross-winding appts. has motor for driving winding spindle, the motor being controlled to keep yarn take-up speed constant throughout winding, and second motor for rotating drive shaft of yarn traverse mechanism. The speeds of the shafts are detected for generating respective electrical signals, according to which the second motor is controlled to keep the wind ratio at one or more selected constant values through winding of package. Specifically the wind ratio value is changed stepwise as package build progresses, i.e., as dia. increases, by changing speed of second motor by control signal corresp. to difference between shaft speeds signals and produced by comparator. Pref. speed changes of second motor are effected by an inverter. Pref. winding spindle motor is controlled in accordance with yarn tension detected by sensor. Packages are ribbon-free for use with fast jet looms.

CONSTITUTION:Concerning an electric signal from a signal detection circuit 11 provided at a rotating body, duty ratio modulation is performed by a duty ratio modulator 21, the signal is amplified by an amplifier/pulser circuit 22, further, only the rising and falling parts of the signal waveform are pulsed and converted to the time information of the rise/fall of the waveform, the signal is supplied through a rotary transformer 14 to a waveform reproducer 24 provided on the side of a stator electromagnetically coupled to a rotor 20 without contact and reproduced into the original rectangular wave here, and a regenerative signal composed of this rectangular wave is outputted to a democlulator/adjuster 27 and demodulated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent defects caused by a wound portion and improve quality, by providing an elastic seal means between the surface of a winding core and a deposit means corresponding to it. CONSTITUTION:The fine particles of bonding assistant agent uniformly atomized and supplied into a transportation passage 14 are distributed further uniformly in the lengthwise direction of winding cores 3 in a static pressure chamber 11 and provided with a directivity to the surface of the winding cores through ejection ports 15. Then, they directly collide with the surface of the respective winding cores 15 to deposit on it. Since the bonding assistant agent thus adhered to the surface of the winding cores 13 is uniformly distributed and further the width of the adhesion is restricted by a seal member 13, an uniform adhesion over the entire length is obtained. When a prescribed quantity of the bonding assistant agent is applied to a prescribed portion of the winding core 3, a switching arm is actuated to return is switching bar to a waiting position.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily obtain an optimum value of the taking-up tension of each of all the taking-up rolls which corresponds to the condition such as taking-up width, etc. by controlling the taking-up hydraulic pressure of other taking-up rolls on the basis of the taking-up hydraulic pressure of the representative taking-up roll whose taking-up torque or taking-up tension is feedback-controlled. CONSTITUTION:The taking-up torque actually generated on a representative taking-up roll 11a is detected, and said detected value is input into a taking-up tension controller 26 and compared with a set value. An instruction is transmitted from tie taking-up tension controller 26 to an electricity-hydraulic-pressure converter 23 so that the both values coincide, and the taking-up hydraulic pressure (taking-up tension) of the taking-up roll 11a is feedback-controlled. The hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic line 24a is detected by a pressure detector 25a through the feedback-control for the representative taking-up roll 11a. Then, each taking-up hydraulic pressure of other taking- up rolls 11b and 12 is calculated in an aimed hydraulic-value calculator 32 from the detected value and the calculation program on the basis of the conditions such as the taking-up width of the taking-up rolls 11b and 12 having different taking-up width, and each taking-up tension of the taking-up rolls 11b and 12 is controlled to an optimum value.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a yarn winding method where the traverse breadth is reduced as the number of yarn layers increases by reversing the traverse motion when the quantity corresponding to the traverse breadth becomes equal to the amount corresponding to the distance of movement after the preset position is passed. CONSTITUTION:The traverse breadth calculator 5 presets the traverse breadth from the output of the shape presetter 4, the initial preset traverse breadth value, and the output of the tapering circuit 7. Thus produced output is input to the reversing position determiner 8 and combined with the output of the yarn passage detector 9 to determine the reversing position. The detector 9 sends out a signal only during the time in which the traversing shield plate 32 of length lo is passing over the detector 9 at the center of the traversing range, C. The integrator 8a is charged with the output of the calculator 5 only during said period of time and thereafter begins to discharge and actuates the traverse reversing circuit when the charge becomes zero. Therefore this system makes it possible to wind the yarns in the same manner irrespective of their thickness if they are to be wound in the same shape.
