Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for acquiring a three phases of synchronization for an asynchronous IMT 2000 using a sub correlator are provided to reduce power consumption and lower the complexity of hardware by constructing a matched filter with an adder tree and an integrator. CONSTITUTION: A signal aligner(6) aligns inputted transmission signal in early signal and late signal. A code generator(9) generates spread codes needed for three phases. Early and late matched filters(10,11) obtain correlation values by using the generated spread coded. A squaring and adding device(13) obtains and adds complex energy from the correlation values. A correlation energy comparator(14) compares a correlation energy between transmission signal and spread codes and a threshold energy. A sorter(15) extracts and sorts a certain number of correlation energy. Synchronous point buffers(16,17) store the correlation energy from the sorter(15) and location index. Searcher buffers(18,19) store correlation energy for multi paths and location index, and transfers locations to a rake receiver. A searcher controller(23) controls an SSCH(Secondary Synchronization Channel) buffer(20) and all blocks.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A cross-point element structure for an ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Node) switch is provided to implement a switch having a self-routing function, remove necessity of an additional function for copying a cell, and prevent a time slot from being wasted when the cell is copied. CONSTITUTION: Output-group address inputs(AGN(15:0)) represent the output port grouping address information inputted from an external output address allocation part. Output-group address outputs(AGN(15:0)) are transferred to next switch element via a switch element. A path set status input(SIN) represents a path set status of an upper switch element in the same column. Abstract: PURPOSE: A tuning circuit in a filter is provided to secure an exact frequency locking property without affect by an external reference voltage value by adopting a frequency locked loop type. CONSTITUTION: A reference voltage supplying circuit(1) consists of two switches(SW1,SW2) respectively operated according to clock signals(pi 1,pi 2). An externally supplied reference voltage(Vref) is transferred to a transconductance control part(2) according to a switch operation of the switches(SW1,SW2). The transconductance control part(2) consists of a transconductor(Gm1), a switch(SW3) operated by the clock signal(pi 2), a capacitor(C) for charging and discharging. The transconductor(Gm1) converts a voltage(V1) from the reference voltage supplying part(1) into a current(i1) according to a tuning signal fed back from an output signal comparing and tuning signal generating circuit(4). The output current(i1) is converted into a voltage(Vo) through the capacitor(C) and the converted voltage is supplied to a sampling part(3). The sampling part(3) consists of a switch(SW4) operated by a clock signal(pi 3) and a capacitor(Cs). The sampling part(3) samples a voltage(Vcs) from the capacitor(Cs) to supply a signal of the same magnitude as the reference voltage to the circuit(4). The circuit(4) consists of two transconductors(Gm2,Gm3) and inverts the reference voltage from the reference voltage supplying part(1). The circuit(4) compares the inverted reference voltage with a signal from the sampling part(3) to generate a final tuning voltage(Vc).

Abstract: PURPOSE: Method for a distributed control of calls in a control station of international mobile telecommunication(IMT)-2000 is provided to reduce a state of a call saturation where call processes are concentrated in a certain processor, by equally allocating the call processes to all processors in the control station. CONSTITUTION: A call process is generated at a control station processor(ACP), and a call request is sent to a call process(BCP00)(1). The BCP00 requests a mobile wireless call service to a mobile switching center(MSC) via a signal connector(ASP)(2), which sets a link between the MSC and BCP00(3). The MSC authenticates a received call, selects the ACP for controlling a call, and sends the information on the ACP and a wireless resource allocation to the ASP(4). The BCP00 allocates a traffic channel element(5) to which a corresponding wireless channel information is transmitted(6). The information for setting the call is sent to a controller(ACPn)(7), which generates a process(ACPn0) and requests a link change(8). The ACPn0 selects a selector and notifies the selection to the selector(9). A control signal is received from a terminal at a selector(10), which separates the received control signal to transfer it to the ACPn0(11).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of controlling call attempt in traffic overload state in a CDMA environment is provided which controls retransmission of a message transmitted by a mobile for a new call attempt to an appropriate level when the message fails to maintain the current speech quality and the number of mobiles at a satisfactory level. CONSTITUTION: It is confirmed if an access message for eight seconds or more arrives for a predetermined period of time(11). According to the confirmed result, overload control is finished or pass probability of persistence test is defined(12). It is confirmed if the number of access probes successfully arriving at a base station is above six for the predetermined period of time(13). When the number of access probes is above six, persistence level is increased one(14) and the process returns to the step of defining the pass probability, or it is confirmed again if the number of access probes successfully arriving at the base station is less than two for the predetermined period of time(15). Abstract: PURPOSE: A clock frequency precision measuring apparatus is provided to output stable results even under unstable outputs of D-type flip-flops by using both of rising and falling edges of an input clock. CONSTITUTION: A reference signal edge detector(100) receives the reference signal(R128), an input clock(NCLK) and a reset signal(RSTB) to output edges, an RST_RNT and an EVL_NOW, and uses both of rising and falling edges of the input clock to constantly maintain precision and stability. An input signal detector(200) receives an external input clock, and receives the edges from the reference edge detector(100) to output the input clock to detect the absence of the input clock. A clock judging block(300) receives the input clock and the reset signal to generate a CKNG. The clock judging block(300) generates an output error signal '1' when at least one of the NOCLK and the CKNG is 1, and '0' when none of the NOCLK and the CKNG is 1.

Abstract: 본 발명은 코드 분할 다중 접속 이동 시스템 로딩 파일 포맷(CLOFF)의 구조 및 이를 이용한 로딩 방법에 관한 것이다.
CMS시스템에 적재할 실행 모듈은 사용하는 컴파일러의 종류에 따라 여러 가지 포맷의 실행 모듈이 존재하는데, 이와 같은 여러 가지 포맷의 실행 모듈을 시스템에 적재하기 위한 시스템 로더와 실행 모듈에 독립적인 시스템 로더의 버전 관리가 사실상 불가능하다.
상기 문제점을 해결하기 위한 본 발명은 CMS로딩 파일 포맷(CLOFF)을 정의하고, 현재 CMS시스템 개발에 사용중인 컴파일러로부터 생성된 실행 모듈 포맷을 CMS로딩 파일 포맷으로 통일화함으로써 로딩 절차의 단순화와 로딩 시간의 단축 및 실행 모듈에 독립적으로 로더의 버전을 관리할 수 있다.-

Abstract: 본 발명은 VLSI에 있어서의 글로벌 인터커넥션에서의 전력소모 문제를 해결하기 위하여, 글로벌 버스 라인에서의 전력 소비 절감 방법 중, 라인의 시그널 트랜지션 동작의 빈도를 줄이는 데이터 바이패스회로에 관한 것으로, 이와같은 본 발명은 버스라인에서의 시그널 트랜지션 동작 횟수를 감소시켜 글로벌 버스라인에서의 전력소비를 줄일 수 있고, 마이크로 프로세서에서 nop 명령어 수행 혹은 레지스터와 레지스터 사이의 데이터 전송 등과 같은 non-effective 동작의 경우, ALU회로 대신 데이터 바이패싱 유닛을 사용하여 ALU소비전력의 1/2 정도만으로 구현할 수 있고, 또한 데이터 분산의 효과도 얻을 수 있으므로 소모전력 절감에 효과적인 기술이다.
