Abstract:
A patio door operating unit comprises a housing which mounts on the floor beside the location that the door occupies when the sliding door is in its open position. Within the housing in an endless belt which engages the door adjacent its bottom and is trained for movement along a path at the bottom of the door. This belt is driven by an electric motor. There are limit switches to stop the electric motor at the open and closed positions of the door. The belt is tightened by a solenoid connected to the motor circuit so that when the electric power fails the belt is loose and the door can be moved by hand.
Abstract:
Mechanism for unfolding series-connected, accordionlike folded structural elements, particularly for use in supporting large surface solar cells. The several sections to be folded and unfolded are connected by hinge structure including a torsion-bar tensioned when said parts are in a selected on of folded or unfolded conditions. In addition, force transmission means are arranged between panels which rotate in the same direction during movement in response to the urging of said tensioned torsion bars. These force transmission devices ensure that said arm sections will unfold (or fold) at predetermined ratios with respect to each other, regardless of the effectiveness of successive individual torsion bars and will further ensure predeterminable response by said arm sections, even if certain of said torsion bars are out of action. If desired, a power means can be applied to operate through said force transmission means for restoring the arm sections against the force of said torsion bars to said selected condition.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schiebetüranordnung, umfassend einen ortsfesten Rahmen, einen horizontal verschiebbaren Türflügel und eine Antriebseinrichtung zum Verschieben des Türflügels, welche einen flügelseitig angeordneten Antriebsmotor (48) umfasst, der mit einem rahmenseitig angeordneten Abtriebselement zusammenwirkt, wobei die Antriebseinrichtung eine Kupplungseinrichtung (116) umfasst, mittels welcher wahlweise ein Kraftfluss zwischen Antriebsmotor (48) und Abtriebselement herstellbar und ein Kraftfluss zwischen Antriebsmotor und Abtriebselement unterbrechbar ist.

본 발명은 3중 연동 도어의 연동장치에 관한 것으로서, 문틀의 상부에 고정설치되는 상부레일; 상기 상부레일의 제1안내부에 끼워져서 상기 제1안내부를 따라 이동가능하게 형성되며, 일측에는 중간도어를 고정 결합하기 위한 관통구멍이 형성된 슬라이더; 상기 슬라이더의 상부에 설치되는 한 쌍의 풀리 사이에 회전 가능하게 설치되는 벨트; 상기 벨트가 이동할 때, 상기 중간도어와 상기 전면도어가 상대이동하도록 하는 제1연동구; 및 상기 벨트가 이동할 때, 상기 중간도어와 상기 후면도어가 상대이동하도록 하는 제2연동구;로 이루어지며, 중간도어와 전면도어와 후면도어가 각각 상부레일의 길이방향으로 이동을 하게 될 때, 각각의 도어가 상부레일 상에서 이동하는 유격 공차를 최소한으로 할 수 있으므로 각 도어의 이동을 안정적으로 유지하면서 소음의 발생을 최대한으로 방지할 수 있다.

A drive arrangement (10) has first and second wheels (12, 14) and an endless loop member (16). The path of the member (16) is defined in part by a third wheel (18), between the wheels (12, 14). The wheel (18) is movably mounted so that the length can be changed for the path of the member (16) as it passes around the wheel (18), between the wheels (12, -14). Accordingly, the member (16) can be tightened or slackened around the wheels (12, 14), so that the wheels (12, 14) can be coupled to convey drive from one to the other, through the member (16), or disengaged, so that drive is not conveyed.

An assembly for automatically opening and closing a sliding door of the type including a fixed panel and a moving panel which slides on a track relative to the fixed panel. The assembly comprises a housing defining an internal space; a support frame defining a space which receives and retains a drive assembly including a motor having a drive shaft; a drive wheel operably linked to the motor via said drive shaft. The assembly also includes an idler pulley; at least one drive belt associated with said drive wheel and the idler pulley; wherein, when the drive wheel is energised by the motor, motion is imparted to the drive belt thereby causing the movable panel of the sliding door to move between a first state when the door is closed and a second state when the door is open.

An apparatus and method of directionally controlling a movable partition includes providing at least one roller assembly (344) and a steering actuator (350), coupled therewith, to a portion of the partition. A controller (330) may be used to control the steering actuator (350) and thereby select, or change, the orientation of the roller assembly (344) with respect to the partition. In one embodiment, one or more sensors (346) may be used to determine the vertical orientation of the partition including whether the partition, or a section thereof, is substantially plumb. If the partition is substantially out of plumb, for example, if a lower edge of the partition is laterally displaced relative to an upper edge of the partition, the controller and steering actuator may cause the at least one roller assembly to direct the partition, or section thereof, in a particular direction until the partition, or section thereof, becomes substantially plumb.
