Abstract:
A slider (10) is provided for use with an elongated channel (12) having a pair of spaced apart side walls (14, 16) interconnected by a base wall (18) and an upper wall (20, 22) projecting from each side wall spaced from and generally parallel to the base wall. The slider has a body portion (30) defined by a top surface (32), bottom surface (34) and plurality of side surfaces (36) interconnecting the top and bottom surfaces. The slider also has a plurality of axial slots (42) extending between the top and bottom surfaces adjacent each side surface and a plurality of lateral slots (52) extending between each of the side surfaces and the respective axial slot (42) for allowing the side surface to flex and bias the slider between the side walls of the channel (12). The slider (10) further has a plurality of raised ridges (44) projecting from each of the top and bottom surfaces for flexing and biasing the slider between the upper walls and the base wall of the channel. Finally, the slider includes a plurality of semi-spherical embosses (48) extending from the top and bottom surfaces for slidably engaging and guiding the slider between the upper walls and the base wall within the channel (12).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (2) for connecting a displaceable element (1), especially a glass, metal or wooden panel to a guiding device (93; 93a), said guide device being guided in a rail (91; 91a). The inventive device comprises a first and a second fixing part (31; 41). Said fixing parts contain outer panels (32; 42) and fitting elements (33; 43) which can be interconnected by means of an axle (35). Said fitting elements (33; 43) are inserted into a cut out section (11) on the edge of the displaceable element (1) and interconnected. The fitting elements (33; 43) encompass a connection screw (6) which can be connected to the guide device (93; 93), said connection screw (6) having a screw shaft (63) with a screw head (62), a securing element (61) and a thread. The fitting element (33) of the first fixing part (31) has a channel (36) for receiving the screw shaft (63), said channel having channel walls (34), a trough (39) for receiving the screw head (62) and a cavity (37) for receiving the securing element (61). Said securing element (61) can be stopped by a stop screw (53; 53a). The fitting element (43) of the second fixing part (41) has a recess (44) for receiving the channel walls (34) and an opening through which the screw head (62) can be accessed. The assembled device is adjusted by loosening the stop screws (53) by a few turns and turning the connection screw (6) until the displaceable element (1) is set at the desired height. The stop screws (53) are then re-tightened. The securing element (61) is part of the connection screw (6) and is encompassed in the device (2) so that the top edge of the displaceable element (1) can be drawn practically up to the rail (91; 91a).
Abstract:
The suspension device which serves to connect a door element (2) to a running mechanism (6) guided in a rail (4) has a securing means (30) which can be connected to the door element (2), and a connecting screw (10) which is provided with a screw head (11) and a shank (12-15), can be fitted into the securing means (30) and screwed into a threaded drill-hole (9) provided in the running mechanism (6). The securing means (30) has two wing elements (32a, 32b) which can be connected to the door element (2) and which are connected by a central piece (33) which is provided with a recess (34) and is bent upward relative to the wing elements (32a, 32b) in such a manner that, after the securing means (30) is installed, the screw head (11) can be guided through under the central piece (33), so that the shank (12-15) can be introduced into the recess (34), which is adjoined by a collar (35) serving to hold the screw head (11). The suspension device, which can be produced cost-effectively and fitted and adjusted with little outlay, only requires a little space, so that the door element (2) can be fitted at a small distance from the running mechanism (6) and rail (4).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a vehicle door window-lift, comprising a guide rail (1) for a slider (6) supporting the window (7) capable of being driven by a cable (10) and means for automatically fixing the slider on the window; said means comprise a dowel pin (16) adapted to slide transversely in a bore (14) in the slider and in a hole (15) in the window, and means (17, 18) for causing the dowel pin to slide automatically from a first delivery position wherein it is not inserted in the hole, up to an operative position wherein it penetrates in the window hole and locks the slider on the window. Said means comprise two ramps (17, 18) inclined relative to the dowel pin (16) and to its sliding direction (F), formed on the rail (1) such that when the slider (6) moves along the rail (1), driven by the drive cable traction, it causes the dowel pin (16) to be thrust by the ramp from its delivery position towards its operative position wherein it penetrates into the window hole (15) and locks the slider (6) on the window. Said arrangement avoids providing locking by deformation of a plastic part.
