The invention relates to an emergency opening device for a preferably automatic two-panel sliding door having an energy storage element embodied by a rubber belt (6). Said rubber belt (6) is on one side irremovably fixed in a support (9) and on the other side removably fixed to a holding device (7) by means of a slide (8). During normal operation of the sliding door the pretensed rubber belt (6) has no effect. The holding device (7) releases the slide (8) with the rubber belt only in an emergency, such as a fire or power failure. The slide (8) interacts with the pulley carriages (5b) of the sliding door and by means of the energy stored in the rubber belt (6) moves the sliding panels (1a, 1b) into the fully opened position. To prevent a sudden, severe impact of the slide (8) against the pulley carriage (5b) the slide (8) comprises a friction brake (82, 83, 84). This brake (82, 83, 84) is released by a control device (56) only after the slide has contacted the pulley carriage (5b) so that the entire energy stored in the rubber belt (6) is then able to act upon the pulley carriage (5b). When the emergency is over the rubber belt (6) is tensed during the first closure of the sliding door by the movement of the pulley carriage (5b) and again fixed to the holding device (7).

The invention relates to a device for attaching a slideable window pane of a motor vehicle to the control device of a window winder. Said device comprises a first part with a raised, protruding stop element and a second part with a substantially horizontal, oblong recess with which the stop element forms a positive fit, whereby one of the two parts is connected with the window pane and the other part with the window winder. The device is characterized in that the recess (12, 12a, 12aa, 12c) of the second part (1, 1a, 1c) has an inlet opening (10, 10a, 10c) running in the direction of the stop element (2, 20a, 20b, 20c); the vertical centre axis (100) of the inlet opening (10) and the vertical centre axis (200) of the stop element (2) are at a distance from each other; the horizontal extension of the recess (12, 12a, 12aa, 12c) is at least 1.5 times as wide as the stop element (2, 20a, 20b, 20c); and the stop element (2, 20a, 20b, 20c) is prevented from leaving the attachment area. The invention is characterized in that it permits simple and safe assembly and adjustment of the window pane while at the same time increasing the functional reliability of the window pane. If necessary, blind assembly is also possible.

Described is a cable-control window winder for a vehicle door, having a rail (6) and a rail-guided carrier (7) that is moved along the rail (6) by means of a control cable, with a window pane (14) fixed to the carrier (7). The carrier (7) can be lengthened and shortened telescopically and has a slide piece (10) and a guide piece (16), the slide piece (10) attaching to the window pane (14) and being driven on the guide piece (16).

Mounting assembly for suspending a glass-pane sliding door from a horizontal rail, the assembly comprising at least one slide (6, 10) displaceable along the rail and at least one door carrier connectable to the slide and provided with two carrier plates (28, 30) receiving the glass-pane sliding door between the carrier plates (28, 30), characterised in that a coupling piece (16) of the door carrier is provided for connection to the slide (6, 10) and that the glass-pane sliding door equipped with the carrier plates (28, 30) and supported from below can be coupled to the coupling piece (16) and lifted from the supported position to a suspended position and vertically adjusted in the suspended position by a lifting and adjusting means accessible from one flat surface of the glass-pane sliding door.

Ein Beschlag für eine Schiebetür (60), umfasst eine Schiene (3), entlang der mindestens ein Laufteil (4) verfahrbar gelagert ist, und einen Selbsteinzug (5) mit einem entlang einer Führungsbahn verfahrbaren Mitnehmer (7), der mit einem am Laufteil (4) angeordneten Aktivator (8, 10) koppelbar ist, um das Laufteil (4) in eine Endposition zu bewegen, wobei der Aktivator (8, 10) relativ zu einem Träger (40) des Laufteils (4) von einer Montageposition in mindestens eine Funktionsstellung bewegbar ist, in der eine Kopplung mit dem Mitnehmer (7) des Selbsteinzuges erfolgen kann, und der Aktivator (8, 10) in der Montageposition eine Montage des Laufteils (4) an der Schiene (3) ermöglicht, aber in einer Funktionsstellung das Laufteil (4) durch einen Anschlag (15, 85) am Aktivator (8, 10) gegen ein Ausheben von der Schiene (3) gesichert ist. The present invention relates to a mechanism for moving coplanar doors of a piece of furniture or other furniture item. The mechanism comprises at least one moving unit for moving at least one of said doors. Such a unit comprises a supporting member mobile along a longitudinal direction and a connection bracket supported by the supporting member and connectable to said door. The mechanism equally comprises a guiding member for guiding the bracket between a first and a second operating position characteristic of a coplanar door condition and of parallel, non-coplanar door condition, respectively. Such a guiding member is fixed to the piece of furniture during the movement of the bracket between the first and second operating position and becomes integral to the bracket when the bracket reaches the second operating position.
