Abstract: A printed circuit board capable of expanding a memory module and a memory system having the same are provided to easily expand a memory module without a dummy module by having a plurality of slots and controller terminals. Slots(210,220,230,240) are sequentially formed on a PCB(Printed Circuit Board), and are connected to controller terminals(301-304) through wires. The slots(210,220,230,240) have a memory module having a memory device which receives 2k data in parallel. The controller terminals(301-304) transceive data in parallel with a processor(1), and are installed on the memory device installed on the memory module. The slot(210) is located on a first position from the controller terminals(301-304), and is connected to the controller terminals(301-304) not to be overlapped. The slot(210) has 2k module terminals which are sequentially positioned. The slot which is located between the controller terminals 2n-1+1th to a 2nth position from the controller terminals is a precedent slot from the first position to a 2n-1th position. The slot is connected to the module terminal of the slot not to be overlapped, and has 2k-nth module terminals which are sequentially located. The module terminals provide data to one memory device installed on the memory module.
