A transmitter-receiver unit is disclosed wherein a frame (4) is provided with solder-rise preventing means (H) between a circuit board (1) and retaining portions (4c), thereby preventing solder from rising up to the retaining portions (4c). Thus, the engagement between engaging holes (6c) and the retaining portions (4c) is ensured in comparison with the prior art. The transmitter-receiver unit permits a cover (6) to be mounted positively to the frame (4) and is suitable for the reduction of size and weight.
Abstract:
In the electronic device of the present invention, leg portions (1b) of a frame are projected downward from the underside of a printed circuit board (2), so the positioning of the electronic device can be done by inserting the leg portions into holes formed in a mother printed circuit board. Thus, when the electronic device is surface-mounted to the mother board, there is no fear of its dislocation even under vibration or shock. Accordingly, the electronic device is not deteriorated at all in its quality.

In a conventional electronic apparatus an engagement member (21b) and a support member (21d) are provided on a frame member. This involves a bothersome machining and leads to poor productivity and high cost. Disclosed is an electronic apparatus which includes a frame member (1), in which a protruding support portion (1c) is formed by forming a notched portion (1b) from the upper end of a side plate (1a), whereby it is possible to provide an inexpensive electronic apparatus in which the construction of the frame member (1) is simpler and which provides satisfactory productivity.

L'invention concerne les supports formant drain thermique pour les cartes de circuits imprimés. Elle consiste à réaliser un tel support avec une âme (208) en graphite orienté par compression pour obtenir une très forte conductivité thermique latérale et une densité relativement faible. Cette âme est maintenue par deux peaux extérieures (206,207) formées de plis de fibres de carbone noyées dans une matrice en résine époxy. Un cadre métallique (210) réalisé en invar vient rigidifier le support. Elle permet d'obtenir des supports conduisant très bien la chaleur tout en étant légers.

There is provided a security module for protecting circuit components from unauthorized access. The security module comprises a base printed circuit board, base PCB, for supporting circuit components to be protected, a frame printed circuit board, frame PCB, where the frame PCB is secured on top of the base PCB and defining a protective space for circuit components supported by the base PCB, and a lid printed circuit board, lid PCB, which is secured on top of the frame PCB, thereby providing a top closure to the protective space. First and third meshes are provided in the frame PCB, and a second mesh is provided in the lid PCB. The first, second and third meshes have a number of electrically conductive tracks, and one or more tamper detection paths are formed comprising a serial connection of one track from each of the first, second and third meshes. The security module may further comprise security circuitry arranged on the base PCB within the protective space, and for each tamper detection path the security circuitry has a pair of electrical signal input/outputs being electrically connected to the tamper detection path.
