Abstract: 본발명은레이더와 AIS 기준국을구비한해상교통관제시스템에서수집된 AIS 표적정보를이용하여레이더추적시스템에서자동으로선박을추적하는장치및 그방법에관한것이다. AIS 표적정보를이용하여선박을추적하는장치는 AIS 기준국으로부터 AIS 표적정보를수집하는수집부, AIS 표적정보를수신한시각과레이더추적시스템에서레이더물표가탐지된시각과의시간차를이용하여레이더탐지시각에서의 AIS 표적정보를예측하는표적정보예측부, 예측된 AIS 표적정보의위치가레이더마스킹영역정보내부또는외부에존재하는지를판단하고, 레이더마스킹영역정보외부에존재하는 AIS 표적정보만을추출하는표적정보추출부, 추출된 AIS 표적정보의선박고유식별번호와레이더표적정보를비교하고, 비교결과를토대로레이더추적시스템에서추적중인 AIS 표적정보인지, 새로수신된 AIS 표적정보인지를판단하는신규표적판별부, 추출된 AIS 표적정보가새로수신된 AIS 표적정보인것으로판단된경우, 새로운표적으로등록하는신규표적등록부및 추출된 AIS 표적정보가레이더추적시스템에서추적중인 AIS 표적정보인것으로판단된경우, 레이더표적정보를갱신하는표적정보갱신부를포함한다.
