The invention relates to a door actuating auxiliary device for cabinets comprised of a storage space (1), doors (2) and of a magnetic folding cover (2.2) that has a pushing element (3.2) and a drive element (3.3), which belongs thereto and which extends in the door opening direction so that it can separate itself from the chamber and, in addition thereto, has a motion sensor that is mounted inside the cabinet and when the doors (2) are pushed by the user in the direction of closing and the folding cover (2.2) is thus pressed at a distance that is determined beforehand, the motion sensor (3.1) responds and the drive element (3.3) is activated by this motion sensor (3.1). The door actuating auxiliary device also comprises a closing device (3.1.2, 3.2.2) which ensures that the pushing element (3.2) advances in the opening direction.

A drive arrangement (10) for a shaft (12), such as a shaft for driving a sectional door, roller shutter or the like, is in the form of a module, carried, in use, by the shaft (12) and including a motor (14), a driven wheel (16) fixed for rotation with the shaft (12) and drivable, in use, by the motor (14), and clutch means (18) and operable between the motor (14) and the wheel (16). The module further includes brace means (20) in the form of a limb attachable to a member which is fixed relative to the axis of the shaft (12), to brace the module against turning as the shaft (12) is driven.

A method for adjusting tension in springs (57) mounted upon rotatable shafts is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of, applying a first and a second wrench (1, 1') for splined engagement with a collar (50) of said shaft so as to hold the collar (50) against movement in an undesired direction. The collar (50) being mechanically connected to at least one spring (57). Furthermore, the step of positioning an axial locking device (7), said axial locking device (7) being provided on at least one of said wrenches (1, 1'), to said collar (50) thereby forming an axial locking engagement of said wrenches (1, 1') to said collar (50) and adjusting tension in said at least one spring (57) by winding said collar (50) with at least one of said wrenches (1, 1') until an appropriate tension of the spring (57) is achieved. It is also disclosed a wrench assembly (1) and a collar system (50) suitable for performing the method.

The invention concerns a device for fixing a vehicle window regulator handle (8), comprising a rod (12) linked to the window regulator mechanism, the handle (8) being mounted on the rod (12), characterized in that the handle (8) comprises a sleeve (20) axially engaged on the rod (12), a ring (40) is engaged on the sleeve (20) for axially locking the handle (R) on the rod (12). An elastic means (10) is adapted to exert an axial thrust on the ring between the engaged and released positions of the ring. The invention also concerns a method for mounting and dismantling such a device.

A door operator and related method of setting custom limits on movable barrier travel, includes a motor for moving the movable barrier between two travel limit positions, an operator for controlling operation of the motor, and a disconnect system coupled between the motor and the operator. The disconnect system is switchable between a connected position and a disconnected position, wherein the motor can engage the operator only when the disconnect system is in the connected position. The operator is connected to a potentiometer for ascertaining movable barrier position, regardless of the position of the disconnect system, and provides position information to the operator. A travel limit is set by placing the disconnect system in the disconnected position and manually moving the door to a desired position whereupon the disconnect system is moved to the connected position so that the operator can detect a positional location to be designated as one of the travel limits. An installation switch may be connected to the operator, wherein the operator determines a custom lower limit or a custom upper limit from the desired position as detected by the potentiometer, wherein actuation of the installation switch establishes the custom limit. An up/down switch may also be connected to the operator. Actuation of the up/down switch during setting of the operational profile and after setting of the custom lower limit sets a custom upper limit.

L'invention concerne un dispositif motorisé d'actionnement de panneaux de fermeture mobiles, tels qu'une porte ou un portail. Ce dispositif est perfectionné afin de pouvoir être facilement neutralisé et permettre l'ouverture du portail (V) en cas de panne. A cet effet, il est équipé d'un mécanisme de verrouillage (18,22,66,74) du type utilisé, par exemple, dans les boucles de ceintures de sécurité pour véhicules, dont le déclenchement requiert une force faible, sensiblement indépendante de l'effort de traction exerçé entre la gâche (22,74) et le pêne (18,66) du mécanisme. De préférence, ce mécanisme est associé à une serrure (90) permettant de le déclencher de l'extérieur du portail (V) et des moyens (169,202) sont prévus qui sont adaptés pour compenser les jeux libérés lors du désaccouplement, autorisant ainsi un réaccouplement manuel aisé.
