    Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform the scouring of a plant useful for e.g. wall paper by enzymatic treatment of the plant with a treating liquid containing, as enzyme(s), papain and/or pancreatin and also containing a specific auxiliary to effect no damage of the cellulose itself and sufficient removal of the impurities contained. CONSTITUTION:A plant can be scoured by enzymatic treatment thereof using a treating liquid containing (A) as enzyme(s), (i) papain and/or (ii) pancreatin and also containing (B) as auxiliary, (iii) disodium adenosine triphosphate and/or (iv) Bacillus-based protease. It is preferable that the amounts of the components (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) to be used be, based on 100 pts.wt. of the plant, 0.2-0.6 pt.wt., 0.1-0.2 pt.wt., 0.2-1.2 pts.wt., and 0.2-0.6 pt.wt., respectively.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve an optical transformation function by forming an electrode on a thin film contg. two specified monomolecular built-up films. CONSTITUTION:A polyamic acid is obtd. by reacting a tetracarboxylic anhydride of formula I (wherein R is a tetravalent org. group contg. an arom. ring) with a diamine of formula II (wherein R is a divalent arom. or aliph. hydrocarbon group). Then, a soln. of this polyamic acid and an amine with a long-chain alkyl group in an org. solvent is spread on a water surface to form a monomolecular built-up film wherein a polyimide with repeating units of formula III (wherein R is a tetravalent org. group; R is a divalent org. group contg. a porphyrin ring) is the constituting unit on a base. This film is imidated and a thin film wherein a polyimide with repeating units of formula IV is the constituting component and/or a monomolecular built-up film of a polyimide or a polyamideimide contg. a donor component are laminated thereon. Then, an electrode is formed on this base.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject thin and uniform film having electrical conductivity and useful for semiconductor element, etc., by spreading an organic solvent solution of a specific polymer sulfonium salt and a fatty acid salt on water surface, forming a monomolecular built-up film on a substrate and removing sulfonium salt from the film. CONSTITUTION:An organic solvent solution of a polymer sulfonium salt having a recurring unit of formula I (R -R are H or univalent organic group; R and R are H or alkyl or together form a ring; X is counter ion) is spread on a water surface and the formed monomolecular film is built up on a substrate to obtain a monomolecular film or built-up monomolecular film of a polymer sulfonium salt derivative. The film is treated at 200 deg.C for 2hr under reduced pressure to remove the sulfonium salt and obtain a monomolecular film or built-up monomolecular film composed of a polyphenylene vinylene polymer having a recurring unit of formula II.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a feed for piscdiculture, appetizing the fish even at a low temperature, having high digestivity and feed efficiency and excellent preservability, and capable of giving fish having high meat quality, by fermenting a mixture of fish or shell fish and a material containing vegetable carbohydrate and protein. CONSTITUTION:A mixture for feed is produced by mixing (A) one or more kinds of materials containing vegetable carbohydrate and protein, e.g. wheat, barley, rice bran, soybean oil cake, etc., and (B) raw fish and/or processing waste of fish or shellfish. The mixture is treated with microorganisms such as funge, yeast, etc., and fermented under aerobic condition to obtain a fermentation product. The objective feed for pisciculture can be produced by using the product as it is or by mixing the product with raw fish and/or fish meal.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to selectively control humidity-sensitive characteristics, by providing a humidity sensor, which is formed by layering a lower electrode, a thin film comprising a metal compound active to humidity and an upper electrode, on a non-conductive substrate of which the surface is roughened in a specific range. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a non-conductive substrate 10 such as a glass substrate is manually ground for about 5-10min by an abrasive such as alumina particles to form a roughened surface 13 having a roughness degree of about 0.7-1.3mum in a particle dimension and a pair of lower electrodes 12, 12, which are not contacted but meshed to each other, are formed to the surface of the substrate 10 in a comb shape. In the next step, an evaporation source 26 is heated in a vacuum chamber 20 to form an aluminum ion and a metal compound membrance 14 comprising an alumina film is formed onto the substrate 10 and the lower electrodes 12 under the reaction with a gaseous mixture and, thereafter, a humidity pervious metal upper electrode 18 such as a gold film is vapor deposited on the membrane 14. By this method, sensitivity can be enhanced in a range good in linearity.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polyimide resin being soluble in various organic solvents and having a high glass transition temperature by specifying its structural units and its intrinsic viscosity. CONSTITUTION:This polyimide resin comprises structural units of formula I (wherein R is a tetravalent aromatic group; and Ar is a bivalent triphenylamine group) and has an inherent viscosity in concentrated sulfuric acid at 30 deg.C of 0.1-5dl/g. This resin can be produced from a diamine compound and a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride or from a diamine compound and tetracarboxyclic acid dithioanhydride. In the former process, a diamine compound is reacted with a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride at about -20 to 50 deg.C for several min to several days in an organic solvent to obtain a polyamic acid, which is cyclized by heating or with a dehydrating agent to obtain a polyimide resin.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic polyimide of good moldability by reacting a specified aromatic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride with a plurality of specified aromatic diamines in an aprotic polar organic solvent or a phenolic solvent. CONSTITUTION:A process for producing a polyimide containing an acid component comprising diphenyl sulfone-3,3',4,4'-tetracarboxylic dianhydride (A) and an aromatic diamine component comprising 4,4'-(m-phenylenediisopropylidene) dianiline (B), wherein 2,2-bis[4-(p-aminophenoxy)phenyl]propane and/or 4,4'-bis(p- aminophenoxy)diphenyl sulfone (C) is further used as the aromatic diamine component, and the molar ratio of component B to component C is 90:10-10:90. A process for producing the polyimide comprises forming components A, B and C into an imide in an aprotic polar organic solvent and/or a phenolic solvent. According to the above process, a polyimide being capable of heretofore difficult melt molding and having a desired mol.wt. can be stably obtained.
