Abstract: PURPOSE: An air bag device for a vehicle is provided to prevent a cushion from hitting a passenger's faces on rear and front seats during the deployment of the cushion. CONSTITUTION: An air bag device for a vehicle comprises a housing(20) and a cushion(30). The housing is installed on a roof(1) between a front seat(100) and a back seat(400). The cushion is inflated downward by the gas of an inflator(10) and protects a passenger(200) on the back seat. The cushion comprises an upper panel(31), a back-panel(32), and a front panel(33). The front end of the upper panel is supported by the roof during the inflation. The back panel is extended downward from the back end of the upper panel. The back-panel faces the passenger of the back seat. The front panel has a recess(34).

CONSTITUTION: An upper end of a pillar trim(10) is constrained to a roof side panel(14) by a hook bracket(16) in deforming a center pillar(2) at a side collision. A slit(18) is formed in the upper part of the pillar trim, and a hook part(20) is formed in the end of the hook bracket and inserted to the slit. A coupling flange(22) is formed in the end of the hook bracket, and combined with the roof side panel. A guide part(24) between the hook part and the coupling flange guides arrangement of a curtain air bag(6) through an opening part(8). The displacement of the pillar trim from the center pillar is prevented, or delayed by fitting the upper part of the pillar trim to the hook part of the slit.

이에 본 고안은 예시도면 도 3 에서와 같이 탄성력이 부여되면서 걸림고리에 대체되는 탄착고리(10)와 걸림턱에 대체되는 탄착턱(12)이 형성된 것으로, 탄착고리(10)에는 탄성곡면부(14)가 형성되어 걸림편(8)의 두께편차가 있더라도 이에 대응하도록 하고, 탄착턱(12)에는 탄성편(18)과 여유부(c)를 두어 이것에 걸림편(8')이 끼워지게 하여 여유부(c) 내에서 체결홈(7)의 길이에 편차가 있더라도 이에 대응하도록 하는 한편, 각 부재는 각 걸림편(8)(8')마다 탄성력으로 결합되도록 한 것이다.
따라서, 체결홈의 걸림턱 간에 치수 편차에 융통적으로 대처함과 더불어, 각 걸림턱에 탄성결합되어 체결력이 향상됨으로써, 성형물간에 체결이 용이하여 궁극적으로는 결합된 성형물의 상품성이 향상되는 것이다.-
