Abstract: PURPOSE: An exterior airbag module for a car and a back beam for installing the same are provided to prevent the damage of an airbag cushion because high temperature heat generated in the explosion of an inflator is not transferred to the airbag cushion positioned near the inflator. CONSTITUTION: An exterior airbag module(10) for a car comprises an inflator(11) and an airbag cushion(12). The inflator is fixed in a back beam(20) in a state of being received in the back beam at the front side of the back beam. The airbag cushion covers the inflator and is fixed in the back beam with the inflator.
