Abstract:
A method for setting a time in an asynchronous mobile communication terminal is provided to precisely set the current time by using time information used in a system so that a user does not need to manually set a time whenever necessary. A controller of a mobile terminal checks whether a location area has been changed(201). When the location area has been changed, the controller transmits a location update request message to an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(203). The controller authenticates the terminal and a corresponding subscriber and encodes signal information(205). The controller checks whether location updating has been completed(207). The controller checks whether time information is received from the MSC(209). When the time information is received, the controller stores it in a flash RAM and sets the current time of the terminal(211). The controller checks whether a termination message is received from the MSC(213). When the termination message is received, the terminal sets its time by using the received time information.

PURPOSE: A non-volatile semiconductor device is provided to increase hot electron injection efficiency and maximize program efficiency by extending the end part of a floating gate adjacent to a source region to a channel region. CONSTITUTION: A source region(22) is formed in an active area in a semiconductor substrate(10) including the active area and an isolation region. A pair of floating gates(14) are formed on the substrate in the active area at both sides of the source region. One end part of the floating gate in a region adjacent to the source region is extended to a channel region in the semiconductor substrate. A pair of wordlines(20) are insulated from the floating gate, used as a select gate and a control gate. A conductive plug(20') is formed on the source region between the pair of floating gates, separated from the wordlines.

PURPOSE: A light emitting device package, a light source module, a backlight unit, a display apparatus, a television set, and a lighting device are provided to minimize the distance between the light emitting device package and a diffusing plate, thereby enabling small apparatus making. CONSTITUTION: A light source module comprises one or more light source parts(101) and optical sheets(103). The light source part comprises a light emitting device which emits light when an electric signal is applied. The optical sheet is arranged in the upper part of the light source part and presents properties of a bidirectional penetration distribution function with a radiation angle of less than 0° and more than 0°. The light source part comprises a lens part arranged on a route of light emitted from the light emitting device.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a jitter buffer of a terminal in a broadband communication system are provided to prevent the packet loss and minimize the transmission delay by controlling the jitter buffer of an application program. CONSTITUTION: A message including a plurality of factors about the adjustment of a jitter buffer is received from a terminal of the real-time application program(S601). The delay time of the jitter buffer is increased in the application program(S603). It confirms whether the message for requesting the reconstitution of the jitter buffer is received from the opponent terminal(S605). If the message demanding the reconstitution of the jitter buffer is received, the delay time of the jitter buffer is restored to the original value(S607).

A light emitting diode package is provided to improve a characteristic and the reliability by preventing the deterioration of an LED chip and the fluorescent material inside the package from an external environment through fluorocarbon resin. One or more LED chips(130) are mounted on an electrode inside a package(110). An electrode connecting part(140) electrifies the LED chip and the electrode. A molding material(120) is filled in the package and includes the fluorescent material powder. The fluorocarbon resin(200) is coated on the external side of the package. The molding material is made of one or more of the transparent epoxy or the silicon. The fluorocarbon resin is formed by a dipping method or a spray method. The package is made of the transparent synthetic resin material or the opaque synthetic resin material.

A device and a method for handover processing in wireless communication system are provided to identically conform a communications state of a terminal and a serving base station when return the service to a previous serving base station due to an occurrence of a handover drop. A handover drop is generated, a cell for the handover is reselected(301,303). A serving base station is selected before the hand over, it is determined whether or not the information for communicating with the serving base station was included(305). If the information for communicating with the serving base station is included, a handover instruct signal for a return to service is transmitted to the serving base station(309). A response signal to the handover instruct signal is received(311). If a service is provided from the serving base station to the terminal, a signal is transmitted and received between the serving base station and terminal(313,315).
