Provided are a flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition which is reduced in the addition of char generating materials and is excellent in flame retardancy, heat resistance, and a molded product prepared from the composition. The thermoplastic resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a rubber modified styrene-based resin which comprises 10-68 parts by weight of a rubber component, and 5-40 wt% of a styrene-acrylonitrile graft copolymer resin containing 18-50 wt% of acrylonitrile and 60-95 wt% of a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer resin containing 18-50 wt% of acrylonitrile except a rubber component; 1-30 parts by weight of an epoxy resin; 1-20 parts by weight of a phenol resin; 5-30 parts by weight of an aromatic phosphate compound; and 0.005-5.000 parts by weight of a crosslinking accelerator.

PURPOSE: Provided is a thermoplastic resin composition that has excellent flame retardancy and is environmentally friendly by using an oxaphosphorane compound as a flame retardant, instead of halogen compounds. CONSTITUTION: The flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition comprises: (A) 100pts.wt of a rubber-modified styrene resin comprised of (a1) 20-100wt% of a grafted copolymer resin which is prepared by adding 30-95wt% of an aromatic vinyl monomer, 0-20wt% of a monomer which is copolymerizable with the aromatic vinyl monomer and 0-15wt% of a monomer which imposes processability and heat resistance to 5-65wt% of a rubber polymer, and carrying out graft polymerization, and (a2) 0-80wt% of a copolymer resin which is prepared by, to 60-90wt% of an aromatic vinyl monomer, adding 10-40wt% of a monomer which is copolymerizable with the aromatic vinyl monomer and 0-30wt% of a monomer which imposes processability and heat resistance and carrying out copolymerization; and (B) 15-40pts.wt of an oxaphosphorane compound having a general formula 1, wherein R1 is hydrogen, C1-4 alkyl or C6-10 aryl group; each R2 and R3 is hydrogen or C1-4 alkyl group; and n is 1-30.

PURPOSE: A thermoplastic flame retardant resin composition and a product prepared by using the composition are provided, to improve the flame retardancy by employing copper compounds without adding char compounds. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a rubber-modified styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer resin which comprises (a1) 20-90 wt% of a styrene-acrylonitrile grafted copolymer resin whose rubber content is 10-68 wt% and whose acrylonitrile content except the rubber component is 18-65 wt%, and (a2) 10-80 wt% of a styrene-acrylonitrile grafted copolymer resin whose acrylonitrile content is 18-65 wt%; 2-30 parts by weight of an aromatic phosphate ester compound; and 0.01-20 parts by weight of at least one copper compound selected from the group consisting of oxides, sulfides, chlorides, fluorides, phosphates, sulfates, nitrates and salts of organic acids including monovalent or divalent copper. Optionally the composition comprises further 0-60 parts by weight of a polyphenylene ether resin.

PURPOSE: A fire retardant thermoplastic resin composition is provided, to improve the heat resistance and the mechanical properties by employing an organic phosphoric acid ester treated with an organoclay together with a phosphorus-based compound as a flame retardant. CONSTITUTION: The fire retardant thermoplastic resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin; 5-30 parts by weight of an organic phosphoric acid ester treated with an organoclay, which consists of 0.1-20 % of an organoclay and 80-99.9 % of an organic phosphoric acid ester; optionally 50 parts by weight or less of a phosphorus-based compound; optionally 5 parts by weight or less of a dropping preventer; and optionally 50 parts by weight or less of a plasticizer, a heat stabilizer, an antioxidizing agent, a photostabilizer, a compatibilizer, a pigment and/or a dye and an inorganic additive. Preferably the organoclay is prepared by reacting the plate clay having a cation exchange property of 50-200 mg eq. per 100 g with the organic cation represented by the formula 1, wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are independent each another and are an alkyl group of C1-C30, an alkyl-substituted or unsubstituted aryl group of C6-C30, an alkyl group of C1-C30 having 1-5 hydroxy groups, or an aryl group of C6-C30 having 1-5 hydroxy groups; X- is an anion.

According to the present invention, a thermoplastic resin composition comprises: (A) a rubber-modified vinyl-based graft copolymer; (B) a vinyl cyanide-aromatic vinyl-based copolymer; and (C) an α-methylene-γ-butyrolactone (MBL)-vinyl-based copolymer. The thermoplastic resin composition has excellent chemical resistance, thereby preventing chemical corrosion by a foaming agent.

PURPOSE: An environmental friendly thermoplastic resin composition is provided to have excellent mechanical properties and thermal stability, and improved flowability, thereby having excellent safety against fire. CONSTITUTION: An environmental friendly thermoplastic resin composition comprises an aromatic vinyl-based resin, polyphenylene ether-based resin, boehmite, and alkyl phosphinate metal salt. Te average particle diameter(D_50) of the alkyl phosphinate metal salt is 0.01-10 micron. The weight ratio of the boehmite and alkyl phosphinate metal salt is 9:1-4:6. The average particle diameter of the boehmite(D_50) is 0.01-10 micron. The aromatic vinyl-based resin is a rubber-modified styrene-based resin. The rubber-modified styrene-based resin has 1-30 wt% of rubber with an average rubber diameter of 0.1-3 micron.

Provided is a flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition which is excellent in flame retardancy and heat resistance and is environmentally friendly by using a nonhalogenated compound. The thermoplastic resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin; 0.1-40 parts by weight of a titanium-containing organic nitrogen compound; and 0.1-40 parts by weight of a phosphorus-based compound. Preferably the titanium-containing organic nitrogen compound is represented by the formula 1, wherein R1 and R2 are independently H, a C1-C12 alkyl group or a C6-C20 aryl group; and X is H, OH, a C1-C12 alkyl group or a C6-C20 aryl group.
