Abstract:
PURPOSE: A DNA marker, primer kits, and a method for effective detection of a clubroot disease resistant plant are provided, thereby a clubroot disease resistant Chinese cabbage can be rapidly and stably selected without direct inoculation of clubroot disease-causing bacteria into the Chinese cabbage. CONSTITUTION: A DNA fragment contains at least a portion of the double helix nucleotide sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 and having the length of 256 bp, in which the DNA fragment is a DNA marker for selecting a clubroot disease resistant plant. The primer kits for selecting a clubroot disease resistant plant comprises the combination of oligonucleotides having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NOs 4 to 9 and being complementary to a portion of the double helix nucleotide sequence. The method for elective detection of a clubroot disease resistant plant comprises the steps of: (a) extracting the genomic DNA from a plant, and detecting the amplified band; (b) designing one or more oligonucleotide primer complementary to a portion of the genomic DNA sequence using computer programs; (c) subjecting the genome isolated from the same kind of plant to PCR together with the primer; and (d) verifying whether the same kind of plant contains the DNA marker.

본발명은초장이짧은야생무로부터초장이긴 개량무품종을특이적으로구분하기위한프라이머세트및 이의용도에관한것으로, 본발명에서는최종선발된프라이머세트를이용하여초장이짧은야생무로부터초장이긴 개량무품종을특이적으로판별할수 있는것을확인하였다. 따라서, 본발명을통해초장이짧은야생무로부터초장이긴 개량무품종에대해특이적판별이쉽고초기에빠르게수행될수 있으므로, 우성의개량무품종육성시 효율적으로품종이나계통들의평가가가능함으로써우성의개량무품종육성에유용하게이용될수 있다.
