Abstract: PURPOSE: A pointer for a vehicle is provided to prevent the pointer from leaking light by receiving less light and to prevent the pointer from smudging on a side portion of the pointer when light is transmitted from a plate to the pointer. CONSTITUTION: A preventing protrusion for leaking light is formed around a through hole of a plate(12). A rotating shaft(14a) of a pointer cap(14) penetrates the through hole of the plate. A diameter(D2) of an assembling hole of a light conductor(23) is minimized to rotate the rotating shaft. A thickness of the plate is reduced to insert a floor surface of the plate into the pointer cap. A sectional area of the plate is reduced not to form a corner portion in connecting to a pointer(10). Opacity is spread a floor surface of a weight(13). The weight is connected to an upper surface of the plate by the pointer cap. Thereby, less light of a bulb is received to the pointer in night traveling. Leaking light around the pointer is prevented by minimizing received light of the bulb around the pointer cap. A smudging on a side portion of the pointer is prevented when received light of the bulb is transmitted from the plate to the pointer.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An equalizing apparatus for indicating a direction for a vehicle is provided to turn off a contact of a switch when the direction is converted by a signal of a steering sensor by installing a self-return type switch for a turn signal lamp. CONSTITUTION: An equalizing apparatus for indicating a direction for a vehicle includes a multi-function switch(12), right and left turn signal lamps(14,13), a flash unit(15), right and left deep switches(17b,17a), a steering sensor(19), and a control unit(18). The multi-function switch is connected to a battery(11) and installed to a left lower portion of a steering wheel. Therein, a right contact or a left contact is selected by a driver to change the direction. Right and left turn signal lamps are connected to the multi-function switch independently. Right and left turn signal lamps inform a following vehicle of information for changing the direction by being turned on and off with power of the battery. The flash unit turns on and off right and left signal lamps by being connected between the multi-function switch and right and left signal lamps. Right and left deep switches are installed to right and left sites of a change lever. Right and left deep switches select right and left signal lamps by a selection of the contact that is independent of the multi-function switch. The steering sensor detects changes of an angle of a steering wheel and outputs information to the control unit. The control unit outputs a control signal to turn on and off right or left signal lamps by detecting a selecting signal of the contact from light or left deep switches. The control unit finishes a flash operation for left or right turn signal lamps when the angle of the steering wheel is 0 degree. Thereby, convenience and stability for driving are supplied by operating two actions simultaneously on the change lever when a changing direction switch and changing speed are operated simultaneously.
